Wyatt Table Lamp
A traditional tulip-shaped shade is reinterpreted in metal for our Wyatt Table Lamp. This is a Christmas present for my husband. I haven't see the lamp yet as I sent it to my daughters home. Will view the gift when he opens the present Christmas morning. Since I purchased the lamp I have seen another lamp that I might like better than the one I purchased. We will make a decision once he sees his gift.

I didn't like this lamp after I took it out of the box and tried to adjust it. The tightening area had been stripped a little bit in shipment. Yesterday the switch gave out. It never worked right from the beginning either. So now I'm left with getting it fixed or donating it. I don't think I turned the light on more than 15 times.

Nice lamp, one bad feature

This is a nice quality table lamp. The only negative is that the on/off switch is located on the cord, which means you're always fumbling with the cord. I'd rather hide the cord behind my desk and turn the light on and off with a button on the lamp itself.

I love the look of this light, but the functionality leaves a bit to be desired. The shade gets pretty hot when it has been on for a while and you have to reach way down the cord to turn it on and off. I also wish that it was a bit easier and more flexible to adjust the height. Overall, it's okay, but not great.

Color is more pewter than ant. bronze. Both adjuster knobs don't tighten very well. Switch is two-way, which sounds great, but because of it they caution that you should use an incandescent bulb. So no CFLs :-(
I like the style and the functionality, so I'm going to keep it. But I'm far from being in love with this lamp...

The wheel adjuser for the lamp arm doesn't tighten very well to keep lamp upright.

The Perfect Desk Lamp

I purchased this lamp for my antique desk and it is perfect. I don't mind that the switch is not located on the base of the lamp. I like that the lamp has two levels of brightness. The lamp is on the bigger side, but suits my space well. Also, beware the bronze finish is more of a slate color.

Not exactly what I was looking for.....

This lamp is really nice. I purchased it for a makeup table. Unfortunately it does not adjust to what I need. While you can adjust the lamp upwards, it only adjusts slightly upward, so you need at least 18-20 inches of room when putting it on a table. I am returning it, but only for this reason.

The lamp looks great in my guest casita on the small bamboo style desk I purchased from Pottery Barn earlier this year. It is a perfect accent in the room and lights up the desk when my guests use there laptops in the evenings. It was simple to assemble and arrived in two days from when I placed the order on the internet.

This desk lamp fits in beautifully with the decor of my home office. Its affordable price makes it the perfect lamp when you need a little extra brightness in a room.
The only complaint I have with this lamp is that the ON/OFF switch is on the electrical cord that hangs off the table (and not within easy reach). The proper ON/OFF placement should have been on the base of the lamp.

Lighting my desk as I type

I like how it looks like it means business with the architectural body, but is still feminine with the bell shade. I needed something a little larger and brighter for my desk than the small lamp I had before, and I think this was a good choice. My desk is small, (about 4'6" x 1'6") and while the lamp is a statement, it doesn't take up too much room. The one drawback I find is that I keep reaching for the "on-off" switch on the lamp and it's located on the cord.

Charming in bronze; lovely in polished nickle

I bought the bronze Wyatt lamp for the living room easy chair and was so taken with it, I ordered it in nickle for a bedroom. I like them both so much I don't know which is my favorite. The polished nickle looks lovely next to the filmy drape shade on the window. They're heavy and sturdy and a great reading lamp.
They won't disappoint.

I loved this lamp as soon as I saw it online, and was not disappointed when I received it. If you're looking for a lamp with a pretty, classic design for a desk or an area that needs a little extra light for reading, you'll love it. The ability to adjust the bell and arm are additional cool features.

Nice quality construction. Like the fact that it offers two brightness levels. Don't like the fact that the on/off switch is on the cord. It's a table lamp. I don't want to be fishing for the on/off switch over the edge of the table.
