A traditional tulip-shaped shade is reinterpreted in metal for our Wyatt Floor Lamp. Goes everywhere, portable.We've used it in two rooms so far. My husband loves it for reading and I like the dimmer. We,ve gotten many comments on it. Everyone wants to know where we got it. When I say Pottery Barn, they say "Ahhh Pottery Barn."

I searched for floor lamps for quite a while. On sale, this one was an excellent value. It has a nice heavy base so it won't tip over and was easy to assemble. I use it in the "man"room--it fits well with the more rustic decor.

The lamp is beautiful but it doesn't sit on carpet well and the arm joint is not strong enough to hold up the lamp. I purchased it to go over a glass work table and as soon as i set it up it fell into the middle of table. I had to put a square piece of wood under the base and move it back so when the arm gives out it doesn't land on the table.

Unfortunately, I had to return this lamp. Once it was assembled, we noticed the lamp shade was crooked, and there was no remedy for this. We tried to "bend" it to make it look straight, but were unsuccessful. For a nice lamp at a price that could be beat, I was disappointed in the quality.

Very impressed with this floor lamp, sturdy and stylish, the bronze finish on the lamp is beautiful, love the dimmer switch.

It is a good looking, statement light, but there are some drawbacks. You need a lot of space because of the arm. I wish that it was a little easier/more flexible to adjust and hate that the switch is on the electrical cord. You have to have the cord out to be able to turn it on and off and hate visible cords. Overall, it's okay, but definitely not by favorite PB purchase.

* * * * Four Stars. I use this lamp in my quilt room. I have the Bedford Project table that I stand and cut material at and I will have the lamp hovering during the night. It allows me to see clear and without squinting. When I need to hop over to my sewing machine, I easily turn the lamp, sometimes adjusting the height, and viola, I have light for when I'm quilting, piecing, and etc. Great quality and great look (I got the polished nickel and it too is wonderful).

Beautiful lamp but catalog description needs help

Love the lamp - it's heavy and much bigger than I thought (needs a big sofa or bed), but be aware that the horizontal bar swivels up/down but does not move forward/back on the upright bar. Wish the catalog wording was more specific. The dimmer box is GREAT - can't imagine having a lamp now without one.

Beautiful lamp, a bit bigger than I expected but makes a statement in a room. I like the dimmer box on the lamp--it can be a bit cumbersome though. Very happy with my purchase.

Nice looking lamp but switch needs work

The floor lamp looks nice, but the on/off switch is on the wire and not foot activated so tricky to turn on/off since it is not in an open area as per the product picture.

I agree with the review above that the switch on the cord it a bit tough to deal with-but the look and quality of this lamp is worth it....It is heavy and looks great in my family room....I love it!

The dimmer switch on the floor is a horrible idea. At least put it close to the base of the lamp. I had to crawl over my couch to turn the lamp on and off. I returned it and believe me repacking it almost made me keep it!

The Wyatt lamp is gorgeous! It's quite heavy and stable - no worries about it tipping over. I bought it to place beside my bed. I didn't want a lamp taking space on the bedside table and I thought the floor lamp would be more suitable for reading in bed.
