Terrariums
Fill our decorative terrariums with potted plants, a collection of natural objects or holiday ornaments. We've given them the structure of a greenhouse, with a frame made from responsibly harvested pine. Distressed white-painted finish was created by hand. For indoor use. Small: 19.5" long x 14" wide x 19" high Large: 31.5" long x 20" wide x 23" high Made of pine wood and glass panes. Comes with metal liner. Catalog / Internet Only.

Same problem. It's too big. Every thing I put in it doesn't look right. I need some ideas. And where to put it.

This terrarium is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the small which is actually quite large. I have not purchased any plants to place in it yet, but I am excited to see if it functions as well as it looks. The one down side to it is the instructions for the metal pan in the bottom says to not allow standing water to accumulate on it. I may buy a plastic pan because not allowing water to come in contact with the bottom liner will be impossible.

That Little "Extra"

I bought this terrarium to soothe my winter gardening blues. It has done the trick. It is very well made with easy access both above [the roof opens] and on the side. One can plant easily as a result. This is sturdily built and nicely antiqued for that little "extra" that says QUALITY. I added charming details like a garden arbor and birdbath as well as lovely plants, some stones, and moss. I even added some battery powered lights on the inside to provide a soft glow at night. It is a lovely piece and very enjoyable to view. Thanks again, Pottery Barn!

Package arrived safely and intact - within stated time frame.
Very well packaged - just needed to remove from box and take out the blocking and set up. Looks great and the plants
are doing very well.

My wife loves the terrarium. Very beautiful.
It is a great addition to our home. I only wish that PB had a small stand for it. I would probably have purchased that too!

PS The first one delivered was very slightly damaged and the follow up terrarium door was not hinged properly. I fixed it myself - no problem.

Small Terrarium

This is just as pictured. It is exactly what I had hoped for, I am extremely happy with it. It sits on top of an Armoire in our master bedroom with terra cotta potted silk flowers inside. Also in the grouping is an old handmade basket lined with a crochet doily holding ivy branches and a topiary behind. I actually had someone ask me if the flowers in the terrarium were real. It looks great. I shopped for a long time, saw many more expensive than this; yet they were far less quality. LOVE THIS ONE!!!

It's Finally Here!

After waiting 4 months, due to back order, the small terrarium finally arrived and let me say it was well worth the wait! I love it! It has lots of charm and a great distressed, antique look. It was packaged extremely well and arrived in perfect condition. So many decorating options, I can't decide what to do first. An item I know I'm going to love for many years.

Greenhouse Terrarium

I really like the greenhouse I purchased. Its gernerous size allowed me to place many different sized plants inside. I keep in on my porch where I can enjoy it from the kitchen window. I can also enjoyt it while sitting in my enclosed porch area. When the smaller terrarium became available, I ordered that one as well. Both are really high qualty products.

I had gotten the smaller one last December after seeing it in the store and agree that the size is generous and was left thinking " man, what must the larger size look like?". I found out when it appeared in my Pottery Barns storefront window last week .. It was too much, i could not resist.. I'm still excited about it.

Well made with a true vintage look and feel. I bought the small one which is quite large. It opens at the top and from the front like a cupboard door. Put it on my kitchen island table with winter breakfast dishes in it - including the PB snowman sugar/creamer - So Sweet!!!

I was uncertain as to what to get my wife for Christmas but I new she liked shopping at Pottery Barn. As I was skimming through their gift ideas online I saw the Terrarium and remembered how much she loved plants as well as antique looking pieces. I decided on making the purchase and was well pleased with the quality and apperance of the product and, more important, my wife loved it.

This terrarium is gorgeous! I just received it today and I couldn't wait to open it. I was not disappointed. I ordered the smaller one although it is still quite large. I can only imagine how big the large one is! It will be great with plants in it or can be used in any number of decorating ways. I don't think you will be disappointed if you order this. I did worry about it possibly breaking during shipping because of the glass but it was packed well and I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks PB!

I got the small terrarium and I love it. It is plenty big for several small plants and the metal tray catches drips from watering. I love the distressed look and the two doors for taking care of plants. It would also look great holding candles!
