Poor customer service

When the desk was delivered the middle drawer was damaged to the point where I could not use the desk. The driver said he would reorder a new top for me and I would receive a call when it was ready to deliver. After trying to call repeatedly with no response I finally received a new desk top SIX MONTHS LATER! And it was damaged!! They supposedly reordered another one, but when I called to check on it, the order was listed as fulfilled and they had no record of it being damaged. Finally 3 months later, I received a new desk top that was not damaged. Several complaints here... it should not take that long to replace a damaged item, customer service should return phone calls, my order should not have been cancelled after delivered damaged the second time, and no one (the delivery company or Pottery Barn) offered any sort of apology or any incentive to reorder from their store again. So as much as I love their product, I am a customer of Pottery Barn no more.

I love this desk, and waited two months to get it. The only diappointment is the fact that the table top has a rough finish vs smooth which makes writing on it driectly on paper uneven. Definitely would prefer a smooth finish.
Otherwise I love all of the storage and it looks great.

The desk is exactly as pictured and described. It is very nice and well made. I do wish that it was a little deeper.

Love the look

I have just put this desk in my office and it looks great. Lots of space. I bought it for the look, the space and the file drawers.
There is plenty of space but the drawers do not slide easily.
This really bothers me. Maybe I can oil the glide rails. I hope so because I really like the desk overall.

Great Desk

I received this desk 2 months after I ordered it. Though I wasn't happy with the wait time, I am glad I got it. It is very well made, has lots of storage and it looks nice in my office. I just received my wall organizers from Pottery Barn. My office is not only beautiful, but very organized!!
