Great purchase

I bought this desk for husband in espresso. It is lightly distressed, not well-worn. The wood is gorgeous and the desk is very functional. He was thrilled and now enjoys his office much more. The storage space is wonderful. I also purchased the file cabinet that further increased storage. You can put books or a printer in the extra space, so I also highly recommend the file cabinet. We also purchased the corner desk top. It really finishes the look and again increases storage. The drawers are heavy and well-made. I have no doubt this desk will last forever.
I do have one gripe. The back of the desk is not finished as well as I'd hoped. We have it against a wall, like in the picture, but I was hoping to be able to expose the back of the desk, at some point. For the price, I think they should've finished the back with the quality workmanship PB usually delivers. Still, I think it's worth it. You will not be disappointed.

Whitney corner desk and bookcase

A beautiful addition to my home office. I waited to buy this for 2 years, and am glad that I did- the espresso finish is wonderful. Of course, in that time, the price of the desk increased, which was unfortunate. I do feel, however, that I have added well-made furniture that should outlast my guilt for the expense. Thank you.
