Wall-Mount Coat Rack
Based on an antique coat tree we saw in a Paris bistro, our wall-mounted rack holds an impressive number of coats, hats and scarves without taking up an inch of floor space. 7.5" wide x 6" deep x 28.5" high Made of steel and zinc alloy with a nickel finish. Catalog / Internet only.

We don't have a coat closet by our entry way and I wanted to be able to hang coats somewhere other than on the stair post but we don't have much room... absolutely no room on the floor, so this wall mounted rack is perfect!! I love it! Very heavy and nice quality and fairly easy to mount. :)

Received this coat rack this Christmas, off of my wish list. Our 1900 house has a small entryway without a closet, nor is there a closet anywhere on the first floor. This felt sturdy right out of the box, we had no problems installing it (maybe the plaster walls help hold the anchors/screws tight unlike other reviewers?), and every hook felt, and still feels solid. We literally tried to shake this coat rack after it was installed and it didn't budge. There were no wobbly hooks or I would have returned it for a new one.
We are careful taking our coats off of the hooks, and be sure not to yank them, but it has been nothing but sturdy & gorgeous. This fits the house & our general style, and we have received numerous compliments from family & friends.

We loved the space-saving design of this coat rack in our tiny mudnook, but after several months of use (only a few months of daily use), one hook broke completely off, and 3 others are close to breaking off. We have not put excessive weight on the hooks, either. Alas, we will have to look for a new coat rack solution. Very disappointing... this one seemed perfect until it got actual use this winter. If you buy this, go very easy on it.

Looks great on the wall. However, the hooks on two different portions of the rack have fallen out of their slots. I certainly haven't been overloading it, or been rough. From how it came apart, it looks like it was just made using poor technique. I am hopeful that they will be able to replace them with parts that are made properly!

I just received my coat rack in bronze and was able to hang it without the help of my husband (its just 4 anchors and 4 screws). It was a little smaller than I expected but I didn't really read the dimensions before ordering. It's just perfect for my mudroom though and I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting something a little more unique than a coat tree.

Although our home has a long entryway, there is little floor space by our front door to place a coat tree. After some research on the internet, I found this wall-mount coat rack at my favorite store! We ordered it in the bronze and it holds several coats and looks great! Unique and fun!

Great Design, with some minor quality adjustments

If this wasn't so complicated for my husband to hang because of some quality issues, it would be 5 stars.
Also, I would like it to be in the bronze finish as well. The silver color didn't really go with my decor, but I loved it so much I got it anyway. We bought 2 and hung them right on top of each other, as there is no room in our entryway for guests to hang coats and jackets. This is absolutely perfect! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. More finish choices please, but a fantastic concept and great for organizing a difficult entryway.

Although the coat rack looks great in the picture and was just what I needed for the space I have available, it is not made very well. One of the hooks is loose and the top ball is crooked. It is a shame Pottery Barn doesn't sell this in their stores so people can see it in person before buying it.

Love it, but a bit expensive

I love this coat rack and it looks great. I wanted something off the floor and modern looking, it was a little pricey and the quality isn't the absolute best but it's not bad either. I noticed that it's loose, if you try to screw it tighter, the hooks don't line up so it has to be slightly loose. Since it's attached to the wall though, it doesn't wobble or move around. Out of all the coat racks I searched, this was the best looking but perhaps not the best quality for the price. I would recommend this though!

This coat rack is terrible quality. I had to return it TWICE before I got one that now only sort of works. There are several pieces that screw together, but not very tightly. It required a lot of fixing on my own, only because I'm stubborn. Out of the box is was just a flimsy, expensive coat rack. The hardware to install it is junk, and the screws don't even fit into the anchors. Probably should have learned my lesson after the the first two. I would not recommend.

This rack is of very poor quality. The rivets that hold the arms of the rack to the center support are cheap and break easily. One of the rivets on the rack that we ordered was already broken when we opened the box. Do yourself a favor and don't get this item. Very disappointing from Pottery Barn.

WE GOT THE COAT RACK WITH GOOD PACKING SITUATION, BUT WHEN WE OPENED THE BOX, WE FOUND ONE LEG OF THIS RACK BROKEN, I CAN 100% SURE, IT WAS NOT BROKEN DURING TRANSPORTATION, NOW, IT BECOME RUBBISH FOR US! WE LEFT IT IN THE BOX STILL NOW!
