Poorly Made / Poorly Finished

Judging from a couple of the other comments either the source has changed since 2010 or quality control is a real problem. The Vintage Wood snack bowl I was shipped was poorly carved (i.e. lopsided) and the finish was really poor (needs sanding & refinishing).

The wood is a nice, warm color and just the right weight. Beautiful finish. Perfect to serve olives, fruit, rolls, whatever. A great serving piece and nice presentation. Love it!

great divided snack bowl

I absolutely love this bowl. My only complaint is that the sticker Pottery Barn put on the bottom peeled off the outside of the wood. They should not have put a sticker directly on the bowl. I suppose I could have exchanged it, but since it is on the bottom of the bowl, I didn't bother.
