Vintage Ticking Stripe Duvet Cover & Sham - Blue
We replicated the appeal of vintage linen men's shirts in this duvet cover and sham, woven from a blend of linen and cotton for appealing softness and subtle luster. The yarn-dyed stripes have a cross-woven look that lends dimension to their design. Made of cotton/linen. Yarn dyed for vibrant, lasting color. Duvet cover and shams reverse to self. Duvet cover has hidden button closure; shams have envelope closure. Duvet cover, shams and inserts sold separately. Monogramming is available at an additional charge. Monogram will be centered on the cover and the sham. Machine wash. Catalog / Internet Only. Imported.

Nice but Rough

When we first received the duvet cover it was just what we were looking for but after about a month we just couldn't take the roughness feel while sleeping and it looked worn out (not just a vintage look). I would recommend it if you will barley use it but if sleeping with it every night it was just too scratchy.

Perfect compliment for a rustic room.

Have been searching everywhere for bedding to complete a guest room in our rustic log home. The blue ticking stripe was the perfect choice. Looks great and quality is excellent. I was happy to find that all corners have ties to secure my duvet in place.

I purchased the shower curtain for our guest bath at our cabin,so I was thrilled when I saw the ticking came in the duvet cover and shams- I had to get it. A perfect backdrop to add a splash of color with a quilt and/or pillows. I love it!

So I bought the Vintage ticking stripe duvet and pillow cases. I love it BUT it is way way too big for my down insert. I have a King size down comforter so naturally I bought the king size cover, it is HUGE there is so much extra fabric that it makes it look sloppy. I washed it hoping it would shrink but to no avail, love the color and feel but its just not true to size. I would say it’s more California King than King, and would have been better off with a queen.

Even when I used the inside ties to hold the duvet itself in place it still bunches and moves around too much. This is more of an issue with most duvet covers though-- I wish it had more ties inside to keep it in place! Other than that it's great--the fabric is durable and very fashionable!

I ordered the Duvet in a King size, and the shams in a Euro size. They are absolutely beautiful and fit perfectly. My only complaint would be that they could be a little softer. We are hoping they soften after being washed a few times.

PURCHASED A SHAM WITH A DUVET COVER,WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE LET ME KNOW UP FRONT IT WAS ONLY ONE.ALL BEDS NEED TWO SHAMS NOT ONE. IF I WOULD HAVE BEEEN NOTIFIED WHILE PLACING THE FIRST ORDER , IT WOULD HAVE SAVED ME TIME AND MONEY.

I am very happy with this blue and white ticking duvet with the sham. I use it with navy shams plus the blue and white sham. I had the sham initialed in white but I wish I had used navy. As I recall, the navy wasn't available at the time. All in all, a very clean looking cool, classic look.

Perfect for our cottage

I bought this duvet set for our St. Lawrence River cottage, after my husband built a new rustic bed. It looks wonderful, not too sissy for all the men in the family. I put it on a down blanket and the weight is just right. I looked at many duvet covers and am very glad I chose this one.

I love this bedding. I have never had a duvet cover before, and am in love with this one. It's a crisp and clean look in the bedroom. So glad I picked this one. Just wish it came with some sort of bed skirt. I'm having trouble finding one to match.

I had wanted this duvet for forever, but I was getting married and decided to wait and just put it on my registry. My absolutely wonderful mama bought it for me!!! It is even more beautiful in person, and exactly what I was looking for. It lays perfectly and is just the right weight. I paired it with taupe and cream on my DIY old fence heardboard, and the duvet complements my bed fabulously!!

Great look, but not very soft

I bought 2 of these for my son's new room. They look great and you can't beat the price. I will note that they aren't terribly soft...kind of a linen/very low thread count feel.

Nice duvet cover, but a bit heavy

The duvet cover is very well made. The fabric is soft, but a bit heavier than I would have preferred, making a king-sized cover quite heavy. But I decided to keep it and it was even softer after washing. I removed it from the dryer still damp and let it finish drying flat. I did not have to iron it to put back on the comforter.

The duvet and shams are a very high quality, thick material. They are not as soft as I expected, but being linen, I probably should have. The colors are light and match many types of furniture and sheets. The colors and material are not too feminine or too masculine, so perfect for a couple.

I love this duvet! I got the duvet and matching shams with momgramming on the duvet. The monogram is very large. It's just what I had in mind. The fabric is soft enough. I don't have a problem with it being too rough. I sleep under a flat sheet so this really doesn't touch my skin alot. I only gave four stars because of the ironing factor. It will need to be pressed after you wash it. If you don't like to iron, this isn't the duvet cover for you. I love the look and feel so I am still super happy with my purchase.

I agree with some of the other comments...this is beautiful and completes the look so well, however, it is certainly for decoration only. It is very scratchy, it would take a few nights to get used to it. It's beauty out weighed it's function with me!
