Pretty Keys Could Use Improvement

These are nice looking keys--great price--however like most reviews I wasn't thrilled about the yuckie green color, but I got crafty and figured it's only paint and took some paint remover (nail polish remover) and took away some of the green! Perfect now!

Disappointed with Vintage Keys

I was really excited about getting the vintage key set to use as decór in my home and when I received them, I was disappointed. The picture of them online was, in my opinion, somewhat deceiving. The picture didn't show, nor did the description say, that essentially the majority of the keys are a green color. I know they are supposed to be vintage, but the green color on 5 of the 7 keys doesn't make them look vintage. The 2 dark brown keys are beautiful. I have had the keys now for over a month and haven't done anything with them. I don't find the green appealing and it doesn't go well with anything in my home. If they were all dark brown, or at least somewhat close with a "vintage" feel, I would have loved them.

Disappointed with the color

These are fun keys, but I'm very disappointed with the color. I was expecting neutral and rustic colors like bronze, copper, and gold, but my keys are a bright PEA GREEN. It matches nothing in my house. Only two of my keys were an antique bronze color. Not sure what I'm going to do with the other 5.

I used these to accent on Valentines Day near the PB glass trinket box which held my parents wedding rings. Had a scripture verse in the PB mother of pearl round frame. Just perfect.

not the color i thought

maybe i just wasnt paying attention when I ordered them but I thought they would all be the darker color. Of the 7 keys only two of them are the dark brown and the other 5 are green. still cute though

I would have given 5 stars except all but one of the keys had a verdigris finish, and I would have been happier if at least 4 of them had had a darker finish.

These turned out to be the perfect addition for my room. I'm using the two smaller ones by hanging them off my desk knob with ribbons... The others are on the wall. An awesome vintage look!

A party was being held at the Benjamin Franklin Institute. The organizer wanted 30 centerpieces for 30 tables, incorporating a "kite & key" design. So I had to cut out 30 diamond-shape kites from poster boards, attached curling ribbon at the end of each one, then tied the key around the middle of the ribbon so it may hang down like a kite flying in the sky with the key attached to it. It was perfect and well accepted! Thank you, Pottery Barn!! Wooo Hooo!!!!

Great value. These keys look really authentic on display and are easily mounted with discrete nail holes. You get a mix of cast iron look and an antique painted finish but I only got 2 cast iron and 5 painted so it looks a little imbalanced on display. Still looks good but that's the reason I took away a star!

Well worth the money. I love these keys! Seven different keys of different shapes and sizes look great hanging in a row by my front door. They get many compliments. Thanks Pottery Barn for always maintaining such high quality products!

I purchased these to hang in my laundry room which I am redoing in a retro/vintage theme. They look so cute hanging on the wall! They were not as heavy as I thought, but still very nice!

I ordered these keys because I thought they would add character. I feel they do, but do not see hanging them on a wall as an option. Each key has a hole for a nail, but some of the keys are thick around the neck, which would require the key to stick away from the wall, where others wouldn't be. I have them on a plate I found and will display them on a desk.

I love these keys! There infinite ways to display them, I chose to hang them on the wall. The colors vary but are very close to what you see online.
