Vintage Drape Rod
This graceful collection of drapery rods is accented with finials that recall collectible vintage door knobs. Stainless steel rod is detailed with cast brass. Crafted of stainless steel and cast brass for superior strength. Pitted antiqued finish creates a warm vintage appeal. Also offered in our oversized 1.25"-diameter style for grandly scaled windows. Includes mounting hardware.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU PLAN TO MOVE THE DRAPES

While this rod looks nice, once it is extended and mounted there is a "lip" where the rod slides out/extends. Even with the drapes hanging on the rings, the rings cannot get over the lip. Therefore, you CANNOT OPEN AND CLOSE THE DRAPES!!!! Basically worthless.

I ordered these for my dining room. I have the Vanessa floral drape (which I get TONS of compliments on!) The rods look perfect however the finnals were shipped seperately and arrived a few days after the rods and they were much larger than I expected. But overall I am pleased with them and get many compliments on them.

PB - love your curtain rods and hold backs. They look nice, are of great quality, and are sold at a fair price. I try to shop at discount stores for curtain rods, and always end up back at Pottery Barn.

The glass ball finial is really pretty. But the medium sized rod does not come with a middle support, and the rod sags down 3 inches in the center, without even having the drapes hung. Also, the finial on one side can’t be attached because the screw threads on that side of the rod are not good. Extremely disappointing that $300 for this set-up doesn’t allow you to hang a simple curtain.

These rods are beautiful, and the glass ball finials are the perfect finishing touch. Unfortunately, one of our rods was scratched when we received it. (Rather than send it back, we just turned it so the scratched part is hidden.) I would definitely order these for other rooms in our house.

Love this product. I bought two "extra long" rods and stuck them together (they are telescopic) and put them on my 240 inch wall. It saved me lots of money because I didn't have to special order a rod, and you would never know the difference!

BUT, the rings needed cost more than all three rods! Could not afford that -- had to return rods. Love the drapes and kept them!

These rings will only work on PB curtains and hooks. I have custom-made panels that use the regular hooks found in craft stores, and the PB rings are too big to be able to secure such hooks.

Three of Four rods purchased were defective. One side of the rod wasn't even threaded. In order to get the one rod to work we had to cross thread it. Do not purchase this. (if you have purchased it, check that the finial fits properly before putting any hardware on your walls!)

Not to Pottery Barn Standards!

I have purchased quite a few things from PB and PBK and have always been so happy with the quality and the way all their products work together. This Drape Rod is not of good quality! It didn't come with proper hardware for attaching to the wall, it didn't have directions, even one of the screws didn't have a phillips hole in the head like all the others... there was no hole at all! The finials didn't screw in evenly and one of the screws to hold the rod still was missing all together. It is a disappointment considering we've purchased other drapery hardware from this company and have been very pleased.

We bought this rod and are very unhappy with our purchase. After spending so much money (and time) on these rods, we were very disappointed by the quality of the rods and the mounting hardware. Do not buy...

I bought it (.75 diameter; xl) after seeing it in the showroom...but when i brought it home, the rod is weak and the painting fell off before we even put it in. I'm so upset. Don't buy it!
