I ordered this and the flatware caddy from the blacksmith collection for my new farmhouse kitchen. I love it because its a heavy, quality piece and its hard to find a paper towel holder thats not boring or cheesy. Im a little nervous because the bar that holds the paper towel screws in and I've never had one like that before, I'm just worried the screw will strip eventually.

Love it and yet so disappointed :(

This item was on top of my Christmas wish list. This piece is really darling. And, it does fit well with my european kitchen theme. However I was SO disappointed when I realized it doesn't fit Costco size paper towels. This is a problem. Under "Dimensions" it doesn't state a thing other than wipe with a dry cloth.

It looks great with my dark oil rubbed bronze faucet and cabinet hardware! The holder has texture, heft, and does not tip when you pull a paper towel off the roll. It just looks expensive and well made. The stem is slightly tilted to kind of force the roll toward the pig's snout adding resistance, but once the roll gets smaller there is less resistance. Highly recommend!

just be aware that giant paper towels don't fit and spin to get a piece off. but otherwise, I love it. heavy and durble
