Victoria Duvet Cover & Sham
Our ornately patterned bedding evokes the intricate damask design that once adorned an 18th-century English silk fabric. Embellished with artfully symmetrical botanical motifs, each piece is rotary printed for exceptional depth of color across natural cotton/linen. Woven from a cotton/linen blend. Duvet cover and sham reverse to self. Duvet cover has a button closure; sham has a button closure. Duvet cover, sham and insert sold separately. Machine wash. Imported.

Not what I expected

Like other people, I too was disappointed when my much anticipated "Pottery Barn" Duvet set arrived. The colors were dull and boring. It looked nothing like the photos on the website. I also expected the fabric to be much softer then what I found. Because I purchased this item on clearance, I am unable to take it back.

Color Too Muted

I was very happy with a prior purchases of a duvet cover, pillow shams and shower curtain but disappointed with this one. The colors looked richer and more intense on the web. For the right bedroom it would be awesome, the color is just too subdued for my taste. I'll keep watching for another Pottery Barn duvet cover that fits the bill since you can't beat the quality or designs. For now the duvet cover and shams are sitting in a bag. Maybe some lucky person will get a fairly expensive gift.

I kept this set, but considered returning it. While it is pretty, the colors were not as vivid as shown. It washed nicely with very little wrinkling and I have no problem with the quality. Just know that the colors are considerably more muted than they appear in the photos.

This is the first purchase I have made fromPottery Barn that was truly disappointing. I purchased the duvet and shams on line. The package arrived,and the color is sooo muted it appears to be faded. Extremely dissappointed.

The muted tones of this comforter are just beautiful. The interior ties keep my comforter firmly in place so it's not sliding around inside of the duvet cover. I had my eye on this for a few months, and am so glad I finally bought it.

Although the color is a little more ivory than white, but this duvet is perfect!!
It had just the right amount of linen to give it a really nice feel. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that finds the pattern appealing. Very pleased!

Colors Not As Vivid - slightly itchy

I had my eye on this duvet cover for quite sometime before I finally bought it. We were way overdue for new bedding and I liked the idea of a washable duvet and down comforter. Overall I like this product. However, The linen or something in the fabric is a bit scratchy/itchy. Which does not really matter since I'm not touching it too much. Also, I washed on cold, tumble on delicate/damp. I have an oversized down comforter but the duvet does not really hang down the sides of the bed as far as I thought it would. it is nice the cover has the ties for the corners to hold the comforter in place. I think the envelope style closure on the pillow shams are not great. Button closure would be better since the PB Square Feather Pillow I put in the shams peek out a bit if I don't arrange them right. Also, the colors are not as vivid as shown online. The pattern is lovely, but a bit dull in color.

After going through 5 duvet covers in under 2 months we finally found this one that fit the bill. It matches perfect with everything and wears great, even after washing. The fabric is perfect in between not being super soft (which wrinkles easy) and rough linen. This one is a keeper!

We love this duvet. Gorgeous fabric, the print is beautiful, it's soft and durable. Highly recommend. Great buy for the price!
