Velvet Linen Duvet Cover & Sham
Velvet's incredible softness has made it one of the most prized textiles since the 14th century. Our duvet cover and piped shams bring exceptional comfort and warmth to the bedroom. Duvet cover and sham have a cotton velvet front that reverses to a linen/cotton blend. Duvet cover has interior ties and a hidden button closure. Sham is finished with piping and has a zipper closure. Duvet cover, sham and insert sold separately. Monogramming is available for the sham at an additional charge. Monogram will be centered on the the sham. Machine wash. Catalog / Internet only. Imported.

Beautiful duvet

I am very happy with my recent duvet and shams purchase. The duvet is simply perfect for my bedroom. It can be very simple or it becomes elegant simply by adding my designer shams to the bed. The options are endless. My husband approved of my choice wholeheartedly because it is simple as well. The free shipping was another plus too!

Like it, but...

I had been eyeing this bedding for months! It finally went on sale and I was so excited to buy it. I love the color and the velvet top. I was a little disappointed that the bottom wasn't softer. It's linen, but I would have liked it to be velvet as well as the top or a softer linen. It's really rough to the touch.

The quality is exceptional. The color was misrepresented. Not a dark porcelain blue but more in the turquoise/aqua family.

The only thing I don't like is the color in the magazine is not the same blue as the actual item. I wanted what I saw, but the actual color is growing on me. Other than that, I'm very pleased.

I purchased two pillow covers to go with a duvet cover purchased earlier from PB. They're the quality and look I expect from PD. They compliment the duvet cover and look great on my bed. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I bought 2 shams with my initials on them for the pillows that are at the head of my bed. They are very pretty and soft. I love having them on my bed.

I bought this duvet because it was on sale and I wanted to replace my ivory pb one from seven yrs ago. the praline color matches my room perfectly and I like the width of it, it hangs more on sides of my bed which looks more luxurious. despite the other comments about the quality of fabric, I find the velvet texture to be really nice and the beige linen in back is nice also. im very happy with my purchase. thank you pb!

Not the color that I expected

I ordered this duvet hoping the praline would match my theme. Unfortunatley you could not view this color in any store that was in my area. I ordered it anyway as it was on sale and thinking potterybarn colors would be true. When the first duvet and shams arrived all three pieces had large grease like stains on them... pb was nice enough to exchange them. I now have them and not happy with the color and the weight of the duvet. I find it too heavy to use with duvet as blanket only. I wish pb would allow u to return sales items. I will be very careful when ordering in the future esp if the item ends with .99. I am now looking for another duvet and probally won't be from pb as I don't want to pay for shipping again esp if I can't see the item in the local store.

This is a very nice quality duvet cover and sham. It looks really nice on our bed and looks as if it should hold up for years to come! However, we ordered it in the red oak and the color is really hard to match.....we had to order a matching shower curtain and towels because we could not match the reds anywhere else for our master bathroom (you can see into it a little bit from the bedroom and the reds clashed)!

For the price, this duvet cover was very good quality material and well made. I've had duvet covers in the past which were cheaply made, but this one is beautiful.

This duvet was exactly what I wanted. The velvet is soft and warm and the dark porcelain blue is a beautiful color. I love the linen backing which matches my Lewis headboard slipcover. Now I can't wait to buy a new bed skirt and curtains to match!

I got the ivory velvet duvet and it is beautiful! I have been eyeing it for several years and finally purchased it. I love that it is machine washable and seems to get softer with each wash, if that is even possible. The only thing is that I expected the back to be cream colored and it was more brown. It is still lovely it just looked lighter online. I would definitely get it again.

I love the velvet euroshams. The dark gray is beautiful and they fit nicely on the pillow inserts. I'm not fond of shams with the 'floppy' edges, and these rolled edges are perfect. I'm never disappointed with the quality from Pottery Barn, however I was disconcerted about the price of shipping for 3 pillow shams. $21 seems excessive.

Love it yet disappointed

I purchased this duvet cover, in gray, for the first time 4-5 (maybe longer) years ago and loved it! Unfortunately it developed a tear, and until recently Pottery Barn did not carry this cover in gray. When I saw that it was once available in gray, I was thrilled and immediately ordered it. However, unlike the first version I had, which had a matching gray linen reverse, this version has a beige color reverse which does not match at all. Due to the fact that I have been unable to find any other duvet cover in gray velvet, I am keeping it, but very disappointed with the linen reverse. I don't believe it is stated in the description that the linen reverse is beige, but it should be.
