This clock is worth every penny! I bought it for my mom for Christmas to go over her fireplace. We hung it above the mantel and she kept commenting on how much she loved it. It changed the entire look of her mantel area. If you are looking for a high quality statement clock...this is it! Very pleased! PB wins again in my book! :)

I've had this clock for a couple of years and haven't had any problems with it. I really like the simple look of it and the size is perfect. Big, but not too big.

If only it worked

Purchased this clock for its unique look and have been extremely pleased with it mounted. Why the 1 star? While the frame is made of sturdy metal, the actual clock mechanism is cheap plastic. My first clock stopped working 4 days in, with the second face also stopping within 24 hrs of that. Batteries are new and while clock was still ticking, the cogs weren't catching.I am on my 3rd replacement and both sides stopped working less than 1 day in. Extremely disappointed. My frame is securely mounted (warning, included template for mounting is incorrect!) and I would hate to take the clock down off my new walls. But not sure if hassle of returning the defective clock and waiting for another replacement would be worth it.
PB, take this useless product off your catalog or have them remade with a different clock mechanism boxes.

Pretty but doesnt work!

Bought this clock for my living room and loved the way it looked after it was hung. However, The little hand kept getting stuck and my husband had to reset it twice before I took it back to the store to exchange it for one that worked. Brought the new clock home and rehung it. Low and behold, the little hand keeps getting stuck and the time stops. Will return this one as well and I do not plan on getting another Union clock.

Not what I expected

I received this clock today and already returned it to my local store. I wanted something vintage and this is not what I expected.
It looks different in person, to be honest, it looks cheap, made of plastic. Also, it is a huge clock. I knew it was big based on the dimensions provided, but I was actually surprised by how huge it was when I took it out of the box.
As I said, it was already returned!

went to the store in little rock and purchased one large and two mediums. i placed them on my dining room wall~~the large in the center with the mediums on either side. i also have the words "home" under the big clock, "honolulu" under a medium sized clock, and "london" under the other medium clock. it always starts a conversation when guests come over.

Nice but could be made better

My mom accidentally purchased this clock for me for Christmas instead of the one I originally asked for from Pottery Barn. She thought this one was more elegant. I agree the design and image are beautiful, but once we got it out of the box to see if I might want to keep it, we realized it wasn't made of great material. It seemed to be plastic and hollow. It's a strong material, sure, and would look very nice up on a wall but wasn't for me. It would also stick out from the wall quite a bit, which I wasn't into, as I wanted something more flat.
