Love this large piece on my kitchen/eating area wall. It is hanging alone on the wall since it makes such a large statement. It is also adjacent to a large picture window which really gives a very natural look to the room. It does take a bit to get it hung correctly, we did end up marking each piece on the wall instead of using the template, which was not accurate. It does weigh about 40 pounds and comes in 4 pieces not one and is easier to hang with help. Very happy with my purchase!

VERY DIFFICULT TO HANG

While this piece looks great on the website, it is quite another to actually hang up in your own home. Know that it comes in 4 pieces which must be lined up EXACTLY, or else you'll have a gap between the pieces. While the instructions only call for drilling 8 holes in your wall, I walked away from the completed project with 14 holes - some requiring patching and re-painting. There are inconsistencies in the manufacturing process which make trying to pre-measure the holes almost impossible. If you buy this, lay it all out on the floor backside up, first. Measure where all the screws should go, then transfer that to the wall. I used a laser level which helped. Would also suggest buying a big piece of thin paper to use as a template, lay it on top of the piece, make holes where the screws should go, then hold the paper up to the wall and punch holes where your marks are. This was a pain to assemble and hang.

This item is very heavy and well made. You must make sure your wall is perfectly even so it align's well and can lay flat.
It looks great in my home office...I would definitely recommend this product.

This item was on backorder and after finally receiving it, I was super disappointed that it had to be assembled and required quite a bit of drilling to our stucco wall outside over the fireplace. Wanted it to work, but had to return it.

Not exactly as described

I received this yesterday and hung it; however, it should be noted that this piece comes in four sections. I originally wanted to hang on the brick fireplace but this was not possible because of the sections. It is also very hard to hang all four pieces of have them line up. We were able to hand it last night; however, some pieces of a further gap than we would initially like.
