Tolix(TM) Cafe Chair
Since the 1930s, these French-made chairs - produced by the well-known company Tolix - have been adding style to dining spots from bistros to backyards. Each Tolix Cafe Chair is solidly built of rugged steel. 18" wide x 18.5" deep x 33.5" high Stackable up to eight high when space is at a premium. Love the look!

We bought a hand painted lava rock porch dining table in the grey and white tones in Ravello Italy. I bought the chairs in white. Metal chairs are not my style but pairing them with natural stone gave a very modern look. I had fabric covered wooden frames made which were then screwed into the holes in the chair seat. It gave the chair comfort and a warm look. The chair is very comfortable and will support men. I was skeptical of the look and comfort but I am so glad I got out of my comfort level and tried something new!

Love these chairs

They look great with my antique gate-leg table. I replaced formal, heavy chairs with these in the metal finish, it's amazing how different they make the room look, now it's the table and not the chairs that stand out. They supply the understated quality I was looking for.

Like the chair-have be unable to enjoy chairs since I still don't have two of them. The chairs have been sent back twice because of damage. These chairs should have been inspected when they left the warehouse. This has been an inconvenience-packing and unpacking-taping big boxes-bringing them outside of the house for UPS pickup

Bummer that it took so long for these chairs to arrive, but it was worth the wait. We got the gray and they are a very deep gray, which worked out perfectly with our wood/industrial leg table. We plan on using them outdoors as well when needed. We love the versatility and of course Tolix is classic, so we're very happy with our purchase. They arrived very well packaged. Thanks PB!

Everything we expected

Other than the availability, everything was excellent. The ordering, shipment, condition up arrival etc. My daughter-in-law loves the chairs. We are saving for 2 more.

The chairs are darker in person than they appear online. I expected a metal look but they're almost dark grey. Wish they were a little lighter but still like them!

I bought 4 of these cute little red chairs and their cushions to go with my father's round antique oak table that I just inherited...........they are PRECIOUS!!!! Sturdy, comfortable and really give a unique look to the table! I couldn't be more pleased!!! LOVE THEM!!

Great chair

Has proven to be a great chair! It is used as a desk chair in our kitchen/office area. Very durable, and stylish. Not as big as I thought it would be, but has worked out well.

love these chairs

I bought 4 of these in white for our kitchen. I love the look as well as how practical they are for everyday use (clean up easily, very sturdy, surprisingly comfortable). I have them paired with a rustic wood table and think the mix of industrial/vintage works well. Very pleased.

Very cool and unusual design. Great color. They look solid. Ultra comfortable. Stacking feature is a plus. Hope that the finish and metal will endure the weather.

timeless chairs

I have 6 Tolix in stainless around my white table with 2 larger chairs at each end. I love that they don't scratch my floor, stack easily, are very comfortable to sit in & easily wipe off (for a family with kids!). I get so many compliments on them & feel like the style is timeless. I also use them outside when I need extra chairs & they look great. If you like the look, you'll love the chairs!

I have 8 of the Tolix chairs at my dining table. They are very well made and easy to manipulate and move around when needed. They stack well, too. They are very pricey but the quality it well worth it. Everyone compliments them.
