Doesn't come with the stools

The stools fit so well under this table and they were shown in every photo but one. I thought they came with the table. They didn't. I thought the table and stools together for $400 was a deal, but not when the only the table was $400 and the stools were an additional charge each. I returned the table.

This console table is a great purchase. Very solid with a simple design and sized to go anywhere. I use mine with leather cubes underneath for added storage and seating when needed and a black framed mirror above. Roomy shelf for baskets etc.. Great value and glad I bought it!

Beautiful display table

My mothered used this table in the bedroom to display several keepsakes. The size was perfect and added a unique piece that accented the other furniture. The hammered finish adds a rich texture to the metal and softens the metal frame of the console. Definitely unique.

This fits the space perfectly! It is just the right size for my entrance hall, and the glass helps make it less bulky.

I needed a console for the entryway of my office and I didn't want wood. This, plus the nesting tables, fit the bill perfectly. The packing job was nonpareil and the pieces were just the thing to tie-in my inadvertent Asian-safari theme. Perhaps if you have less effusive decor than mine you might think twice about the austerity of the design but I think these pieces would fit in nicely in most contexts. I'm thinking about buying more for my home.

Delivery was fast, but heavy for UPS. Excellent quality. Design works well with traditional furnishings. Two tiers provide space for servers that can't fit on dining table.

We bought the console table, end table set and two sofa table cubes. All arrived extremely well wrapped and in great condition. The construction is hefty yet classy, and they fit right in with our wine county decor.

Perfect Fit, High Price

I was so pleased to find this table because it was the perfect size for a certain area in my hearth room. I like that it's smaller/narrower than other, similar tables because it's good for smaller spaces. I plan to buy baskets for the shelf and store DVD's and video games/accessories. The table is very sturdy, although it took me awhile to get it leveled and the head of one of the levelers stripped and is now stuck in place. The table was VERY well-packaged; it was somewhat tedious to remove all the packaging, but I'm not complaining because it arrived in good condition. It came in 2 separate shipments, with the glass arriving several days before the rest of it - not sure why this happened. Overall, great table, but pretty pricey - a "knockoff" version can be found at a discount retailer for much cheaper, but it's probably not as high-quality.

Arrived in great condition, my husband was impressed with the packaging.
We already have other Tanner tables, (2 cube tables and a round table), so I was looking forward to adding the console table.
All the tables are heavy and stable and have a pleasing rustic finish. These tables will never go out of style and can be easly moved around, as needed.

Hard to believe, but rather than use one continuous piece of metal for each leg, all four are clearly welded from two parts which show as a "funny" looking area on each about 10 inches up from foot. Not up to PB standards and could be wonderful, except that cheap construction method. We are returning ours.

Stunning in our entryway!

My husband and I had a hard time agreeing on what to put in our small entryway, but once I saw this I knew we would both love it. And upon delivery it did not disappoint! It has a contemporary feel that appeals to him, and I love the rustic elegance of it. Can't wait to purchase more pieces in this line.

A Perfect Choice

This Tanner console is a perfect choice for me. I love Modern (Scandinavian) furniture with a little Graeco-Roman touch thrown in; this minimalist piece fits perfectly into my decor. I have been looking for years for the "just right" console to place in my dining room, and then my Pottery Barn catalog came in the mail. Eureka! The Tanner collection; the Tanner console!
