After storage for less than one year in our climate-controlled attic, these bags (I bought two--they still have the tags on them) literally fell apart on Thanksgiving. We extended our Pottery Barn table to accommodate the family, and when removing the table leaves the bag material essentially disintegrated. I can sew, but the damage is irreparable. I wouldn't waste my money on this item if I could do it over again. What a shame...I thought I was doing the right thing by purchasing these from Pottery Barn.

My new Bernhardt table leaf is unusually wide at 60". I was relieved to find this cover, which fits well and protects the table from dust and scratches.

Leaf bag ripped apart when moving it to store away. Product needs to be made with a more durable fabric/material.

Great concept....but....

We purchased two of these for the Montego dining room table. They are almost twice the size of the leaf itself. While the idea is great, it look absolutely ridiculous in the bag, because the top hangs over more than halfway down the side of the leaf. Very odd - typically PB stuff is right-on.

I felt a little extravagant buying this bag, but was really happy once I had it in hand. Thick enough to really protect the leaf, and large enough to fit without a fight. If you need to store your leaf anywhere it might get scratched, you will be glad you popped for this nice "extra".
