A wonderful comforter

After staying in a very nice hotel with a down comforter I decided I really wanted one. This is such a great comforter, not too heavy, the weight evenly distributed throughout the comforter, it is just want I was looking for. It is warm without the weight of lots of blankets. I live where it gets cold, this is all I am using other than a sheet and stay warm. The duvet covers I also purchased help keep it clean.

Nice, but needs another loop

You can tell this is a quality comforter. It isn't too think, but it is too think for my bed in the summer since we do not keep our A/C blasting at night. I have to pull it down at night. I agree with other comments that it doesn't fill my duvet completely, but it doesn't bother me. This comforter has a loop to tie your duvet so it can stay together, but it really needs at least one more loop preferably 4 loops total. Other than that, this comforter is a nice buys.

Comfy but not enough fluff

Very soft and comfy feeling. It isnt as thick as I would have expected it to be for the price. It doesnt fill my duvet completely either. You almost need 2 comforters inside a king size duvet for it to fill completely. Probably ok for a smaller size bed. I would recommend buying 2 of them if you have a king size bed.

I would not recommend anyone buy this down comforter. The feathers do not stay in and they shift within the comforter. Half of my comforter has feathers and half of it has giant empty spots. The one time I was brave enough to wash my duvet cover, I had to take the whole thing outside to remove the comforter due to the endless feathers. I then shook out as many feathers as I could from the duvet, but I still had feathers all over my home. Honestly, I would almost rather purchase another duvet to replace my feather-filled duvet before I attempt to wash it again. I can't tell you how horrible this comforter is. Save your money and don't buy this!

Simply put, it just doesn't hold the down. It's so bad that I dread washing the duvet cover, and don't as often as I would like, because doing so releases so many feathers into the air that it's hard to breath! There are literally handfulls of feathers left inside the duvet. I should have returned this comforter right away - what a mistake.

A friend bought this comforter and says her husband won't get out of the bed. I wanted a substantial comforter that would puff up my duvet and keep me toasty in the winter. It's amazing. Lightweight yet warm enough that I no longer need a quilt. The down is easy to fluff. I might have to use my standard comforter in the summer months yet look forward to using this all winter. Worth the money.

I love this comforter! So fluffy. I use a duevet over it and it works great, so soft.
