Sumatra II Bed & Dresser Set
The distinctive grain of naturally distressed hardwood gives this bed and dresser set its rustic beauty. Our Sumatra II Bed showcases the same rich mahogany stain, natural distressing and kiln-dried wood as our well-loved Sumatra Bed, but at a great price. Expertly crafted kiln-dried solid hardwood frame. The bed features a slightly thinner headboard than our traditional Sumatra bed, but has the same thick posts and legs. Headboard and footboard are topped with decorative molding. Hand-applied multistep finish with final coat of lacquer for lasting beauty. Cross-slat support system requires the use of a box-spring. Detail and Quality

Great quality, great color, tone, and detail in the wood finish. Very solid construction. My only complaint is that with our King Sleep Number bed, the box spring is too tall and it is visible above the side frames so it is not as sharp looking as in the photos, where you can't see the box spring. I guess a regular bed has a shorter box spring. Regardless of this, we still really love the set and will be buying the nightstands soon.

Very solid and attractive

Both the bed and dresser are very nice and appear to be solid pieces. The dresser has a large amount of space in the drawers which are fairly deep. The finish is rustic without looking "old". I would recommend both to anyone.

The bed is very nice. the description doesn't tell you about a box spring which the mattress companies insist upon. You have to get a 5 inch box spring to make it look like the picture.

We love this bed and dresser

This bed is classically designed and very sturdy. We were drawn to the wood finish because it is similar to our "Wynn" dining table and chairs that we bought a few years ago, and love!
The dresser drawers have a lot of space, and hold so much that I've offered a few of my drawers to my husband.
We've loved everything we've gotten from Pottery Barn, and this set will be much loved too.
