I love these shelves. I bought 2 in espresso, and they go on either side of the TV in my great room.
I got them today and put them together by myself. My floor is carpeted and the shelves are pretty heavy, so I did not anchor them to the wall.
I highly recommend them. The quality of the wood is superb. They are worth the money!!!

As usual the quality of pottery barn is great. I love this shelf system. It is very sturdy and can hold a ton of stuff from baskets to picture frames. I have seen this at other places for less money, but it was not of the same quality. Nice addition to my living room

Unfortunately one shelf has a medium size crack on it.
But happy with the functionality of the studio wall shelf. The assembly was very easy so thats a plus.

I love this shelf unit. I bought 2 and they look great side by side. They are very high quality and the finish is beautiful. Attaching them to the wall is a little tricky so take your time when installing.

I absolutely love this! I got the antique white, and was a little disappointed the "antique white" color wasn't the same antique white as the photo ledges I purchased separately to hang on the wall beside the studio wall shelf, but I am definitely thrilled with both items. The wall shelf was a breeze to put together (15 mins), and I did not need to anchor it to the wall since I have carpet. It's sturdy and looks great. Love the photo ledges too!! They were definitely a challenge to hang, but look great with the studio wall shelf.

Love these book shelves. They are packed beautifully for delivery. All pieces are labeled for ease of assembly. Hardest thing to do was carry in the heavy pieces! We did not wall anchor as it seems quite solid on our carpet and is leaning into it. Put felt pads at top so boards won't gouge the wall. We bought three white shelves and they look incredible on the one wall.

Studio Wall Shelf is perfect!

The Studio Wall Shelf has turned out to be the perfect solution for my storage problem in a small condo. I had many books and magazines and no place to put them. Now they are all in their own place and I love it!
My boyfriend, who assembled the unit, said it was the best packing job he had ever seen. Every piece was protected so it would not be scratched and all of the hardware was together in one package and all there!
I have had visitors who have admired it and are thinking about where to put one in their home.
Love, love, love it!

Easy to assemble and install. We have shorter base board so the bottom shelf cleared it just fine. I love these for displaying collectibles, books, photos and art. We have two in our living room and I just love the polished look they add. Some of our friends purchased the knock-offs of these & swear theirs are 'exactly the same.' Um, I'm sorry. No. They are not the same. The knockoffs are small, less sturdy and often come in several pieces with unsightly joints. These are well worth the price. I imagine they will be in investment in our home for many years to come!

Build quality good for price. Finish spot typical of other PB merchandise and easy to match up. ONE WARNING.. most homes, as does ours, have base molding. These cannot go flush if your bottom shelf doesn't clear molding. Instructions lacking, but not sure how will affect weight load. We rigged with shims underneath feet to give support but not sure how will last. Best plan if decide to get, is probably to remove a section of base molding to give built-in appearance.

These look exactly as they do in the ad. Easy to assemble. I got the black and am very happy. I put them in my new home office along with the project table and the Ava desk in the polished nickel. All look great!

We bought one for our dining room. Super easy to put together. Very durable, came in great packaging. No brackets for wall support, easy to get at hardware store.
We have large baskets on bottom and displayed items. Perfect amount of storage to have with our buffet in dining room. Nice rich brown that matched our other furniture! Well worth the purchase!

These shelves work well to store our book collection, however the bottom shelves are a bit deeper than we expected. Regardless, the top 3 shelves work well for smaller books. I was a little surprised they didn't come with mounting screws, since they are required for use.

Have a small bedroom, this is perfect size. When it arrived, took about 40 mins. to put together (2 people). Wood is heavy and very sturdy, also well made. Have it in white. Love the finished product. Would like to buy more.
