This easel setup solves my problem for what to hang on the wall of a pocket door! You put the top bar above where the door moves in the wall and Voila!!! you can now hang pictures on the blank wall without a problem!!! Sturdy product!

A great way to display pictures! It looks great above my couch! I have admired it in the catalog for some time and never got it due the price. I finally caved and bought it, and I am so glad that I did so! Well worth it!

This display is in my daughter's home where she uses it to show the children's art work on the blank wall of the stair landing. I immediately fell in love with it and she gave me one for my birthday. Since we wanted the pictures hung over an 8' sofa we purchased a second complete set up and used the two together to display 16 of my nature photographs. I love it and cannot stop admiring the construction. I'm sure we'll change the photos out as others become favorites.

Recommendations for picture layout

I just purchased the 4 ft. display bar and the poles and am excited to hang the Studio Wall Easel this weekend. However I'm not sure what the layout for the frames should look like. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures they would be able to send me of their Wall Easels and the layout for the frames you used? Thanks in advance!

I purchased this for our front lobby display at work. We output samples of our artwork and photography and adhered them to foam core boards. We then use the picture hangers that attach to the poles to keep them in place. Very sharp! We've had lots of compliments! The only problem was trying to keep the poles from twisting left to right. We used little rectangle foam core bumpers and attached them behind the bottom of each pole and it worked. It's nice to be able to switch the artwork whenever we want and be able to use different sizes.

I ordered this product and it sat in my basement for weeks. After reading the reviews I was nervous to put it up. I can honestly say, it took me maybe a half hour to put everything on the wall. It took more time measuring for the holes and picking out the frames to use. I did steal the tip from a previous reviewer to use double sided foam tape and it lays nicely on the wall. I ordered both the frame brackers and picture hangers and wish I had only ordered the frame brackets. Even with a small 10x10 picture frame I felt the picture hangers were too small and was fearful they would fall off the wall. I definately recommend this product and think it works well with all decorating styles.

A great product once you figure it out. Too little information on description page makes knowing what parts to order difficult. Bare minimal instructions make installation difficult. It looks great and gets compliments thanks to handy husband.

The PB Studio Wall Easel has been very easy to use. Both the picture hangers and frame brackets have been useful. I used more picture hangers and plan to order more. My 8 foot long and 9 foot high wall looks great and I'm still adding pictures. I like that the wall will not have nail holes in it, except for the holes at the top that hold the hanging brackets. I've been collecting photo's for the past several years now, mostly B&W's of the old actresses/starlets from the Golden Age of Hollywood. This display went up very quickly and easily and I love it. I'm quite sure Liz Taylor, Bette Davis and Debbie Harry, a.k.a. Blondie, like it as well.

This item looked great in the catalog. Not so user friendly as you would think. Packaging was terrible. Received more pieces than ordered. Hanging bars were bent or twisted. Picture frames are difficult to get to hang straight and level. Had to get creative with the picture frame. On the bright side - the end result looks great. I've had very nice compliments from friends and family. It was actually a lot of fun gathering the photos we used. I would have to think twice about recommending this product to anyone. If your are creative, you could build your own

I purchased this item as i love, love PB stuff. IT looked awesome online so I purchased it. Unfortunately the pieces needed to hang the pictures are an extra cost of which I could only afford 3. Anyway I was saving my money to be able to purchase additional hangers. When my husband went to hang the item he needed to purchase additional wall anchors as the ones from PB were not supportive enough. Once hung, it is not very user friendly to hang especially if you are a woman with fingernails. I wouldn't recommend this item to a friend.

Unlike the picture above, you need 4 holders and 2 rods to hold the pictures level with the wall, and thats what the instructions showed. So it going to cost me MORE $$$ to do what I wanted. But aside from that it's great!

My set arrived in 11 different boxes and was a little overwhelming, but it looks great on the wall of our living room. It does take some heavy duty screws to assemble it and can easily scratch paint if you are not careful. Frames must be purchased separately and have to balance in a certain spot. Overall I love the looks of the frame but it can be confusing.

I have 3 of these systems on my walls - I love them. I am an Interior Designer and plan to use them again.
The answer to the problem of wobbly frames and poles is double sided foam tape. I'm fussy about the frames being perfect - so this keeps them in place.

The Studio Wall Easel is very attractive on the wall, but hanging pictures on the bar is not as easy as we were led to believe. The problems that we encountered had to do with getting the picutes to sit flat and stay straight. There are a lot of variables that need to be addressed in this design.
