Great Daybed for a Small Place

I purchased the Stratton Daybed for my office, which isn't a large room to begin with. I purchased it in Antique White and paired it with the Bedford Antique White office furniture collection. The finish is exactly the same, so it looks very uniformed. The base is three separate pieces, which makes moving the daybed a breeze, although I'm not a big fan of how the space in between each piece doesn't allow it to look like 1 piece. I purchased the daybed with the baskets and I'm amazed how large they are. I almost emptied the office closet and organized everything in those baskets! Two thumbs up!

Perfect daybed for a tiny bedroom

Well, for starters, Pottery Barn's customer service is the best I've experienced in years. The Stratton Daybed was easy to get into a small bedroom because it came in three pieces and it looks just as great as the catalog picture. My granddaughter stores her toys and pj's for those overnight visits.

Perfect solution for small space

I bought this for a one bedroom beach house to use in the living room when my kids take over the bedroom (I sleep on it) It looks like a built-in..which is what I was going for. COMFORTABLE. Storage baskets are really large. I have it banked against a corner and the baskets against the wall give me "secret" storage. I am 100% happy with it. Delivery went perfectly too. Only complaint is that the baskets are a little abrasive and wearing the paint slightly..I put felt on the bottom to eliminate that issue.

Comes with baskets on both sides you so can place it in the middle of room, if you like. Baskets are roomy. Also ordered the pillow that comes with it. Looks great!

It is better than I thought as it is built in segments and there is storage on both sides (which was not explained in the catalogue but worked out perfectly for us)

perfect for extra bedroom

this was the perfect solution for an extra bedroom. The room is not very large and is really a reading/office room but now can be used as a guest room! As an added benefit, the baskets are on BOTH sides so there is ALOT of storage!

I bought the stratton daybed with baskets for my sewing room. It has great storage, does come in 3 pieces and I use a rug pad to keep the mattress from sliding. I would recommend this to daybed especially for the storage.

Looks good/works OK

We purchased this bed last summer as we had to turn our study into a bed room for our foreign exchange student. The bed looks great and having the baskets was a great storage option. However, the baskets are cheaply made and can not handle much weight. They scratched the bed very badly where they slide in and out. Also, the mattress slide around on the bed and we never did figure out a way to stop it. Wish I would have went with a standard day bed.

I love this daybed. It fit in a corner of our family room and gave the room a great addition with a "cottage style" feel to it. The baskets are great for storing
pillows, magazines and blankets. If you are looking for just a great touch in a room I would recommend this item.

Versatile Daybed

This daybed is sturdy, versatile, attractive and provides great storage. I wanted a bed for company that could double for storage in a computer/den room and it fills the bill very well.
