Stella Chair
Graceful, well-made chairs like this were a fixture in early-20th-century schools and offices. We've updated their design with a weathered finish that works well in the kitchen, dining room or home office. 18" wide x 21.5" deep x 35.5" high Handcrafted of kiln-dried hardwood. The chair has a wide, contoured seat, a gently curved and arched back rail, and bentwood braces between the seat and back. Side chair is sized for use with our medium PB Classic Dining Cushion. Stout yet comfortable.

I haven't had enough time using these chairs to review if the paint will have long term issues. Regardless of that, we use these chairs for our dinner table, and they are wonderful. They are much heavier than our previous chairs, but they glide on the wood floors well with the plastic foot inserts. Didn't even realize that they came with this, thinking I'd have to buy a package of felt foot protectors to prevent wood floor scratching. They are super sturdy, and have no wobbles. And lastly, they were surprisingly comfortable.

I ordered this chair to go with the printers desk in Tuscan Chestnut. It's not even close to 'chestnut'. There is no warmth to the stain - it's more of a dark walnut. With that said I new from other comments that it would be darker so I'm not heart broken. It is a high quality beautiful chair and very comfortable. I ordered a cushion for it but it felt good without it. I would by more of these in a minute if I had a use for them. Four stars because the redder color would have made me a teensy bit happier.

Beware of Distressing

I bought 4 of these in black. They are really nice chairs but I wish the description had better described the distressing. The black has streaks of dark red/dark brown in places. It's pretty..but I was expecting solid black. Overall, they are very sturdy and well made. I'll keep them as I purchased the Keaton round table to go with them.

These chairs look great and they are also really comfortable to sit on. I thought I would need to get pads for them but I've changed my mind and don't want to spoil the look with a chair pad. Great product!

Overall the chair is a good size and very comfortable. We don't have cushions yet but it's totally fine without them. The only negative I can say is that the distressed look is a bit more than I thought it'd be. We got the antique white chair and it's not bad but just not what I thought. We got the chairs to go with the Shayne table. The color is the same bu the table is not distressed and the chairs are. Not a big deal but just something to note.

I just love these chairs. One of the best features is they came assembled! Quick delivery, beautiful chairs. I'd been searching and searching and they are a great match for my shabby sheik table.

Great chairs

We bought these chairs together with the French White Harvest dining table and they look great together. Solid, comfortable, and nice looking. The chairs in French white are more distressed and darker than the table in French White.
