Very pleased PB sells the rug pads so that I do not have to purchase these elsewhere. I had to trim the pad a bit but it was no real trouble. Love the rug pads, a must have for hardwood floors.

I purchased several of these rug pads in assorted sizes. I'm very pleased. It's interesting that the rugs I'm using with these pads were purchased from another store. The rug pads offered there had terrible reviews. So I went to my trusted source - Pottery Barn - and, of course, found just the right product which works perfectly!!

I bought two 3 x 5 pads to go under two small wool runners. The pad is quite easy to cut to size. They are not as thick as I would have liked, but I knew this when I bought them....I was looking for an inexpensive pad that would keep the runner from sliding and give it a bit of a cushion. This pad delivers in both regards. I definitely recommend this pad if value is what you're looking for. I have only recently purchased these pads, so they have not stood the test of time but, for now, I am quite pleased with my purchase.

Perfect for my sisal rug, gives it just enough padding. Does not slip on hardwood floor. Just wish factory the would cut these with the "grain" of the material, that would make it much eaiser to trim it down evenly.

I bought the Standard rug pad to fit the 5x8 Rug. It was too big and I needed to trim both the length and width. Definitely not as advertised with it being designed to fit within the standard dimensions.

I ordered the3x5 size for my pottery barn rug. The rug pad did have to be cut a bit as to not show under the rug. This was no big deal. The pad provides excellent traction to prevent the rug from slipping.

Smelled like mold

When the rug pad was delivered it smelled heavily like mold. Perhaps it had gotten wet somewhere in a warehouse. I returned to the store on The Country Club Plaza. They were very nice and gave me a refund.

I'm sorry to say that this product does not work. I have a lovely Pottery Barn rug that I placed on top of it that slides around, despite the rug pad, every time someone walks on it.

Purchased this rug pad to go under my new area rug and was quite pleased by how well it kept the rug in place. Whereas before we had the pad, the rug was sliding all over the place, and I was afraid someone was going to get hurt. But once we had the pad in place, the rug easily stays in place. My only negative about the pad is that it is the same size as the rug, therefore it was showing under the rug. Unfortunately there wasn't a smaller size pad, so I just folded it in half (it is thin enough that you cannot tell it is under the rug even when it is folded) and that solved the problem. Very pleased with the my purchase!! Thank you!

The standard rug pad is doing it's job. It is a little early to tell if it will work long term, but so far it is doing the job as expected.
