Square Decanter
The gleam of a vintage glass decanter on a polished wooden bar inspired us to create our Square Decanter. 4" diameter, 10" high Handblown glass is fitted with a globe-topped glass stopper. Monogramming is available at an additional charge. Monogram will be centered on the side of the decanter.

The engraving I received does not match what is shown on the website. I ordered the decanter exactly as shown with the B in the square. I am disappointed that mine arrived about half the size shown online. It looks feeble and not very masculine at all.
I would not have ordered it if I had known it would look this way.

This was a Christmas gift for my son-in-law. He was delighted with its quality, especially with the etched monogram. It looks great in his lighted liquor cabinet.

Stopper did not fit

I have to say this , the decanter is beautiful but the stopper did not fit at all. I was going to send it back but since it was a Christmas gift did not want to wait. Fortunaltely we had another decanter and its top fit the Pottery Barn one. It actually looked better than yours. The Pottery Barn stopper fit our decanter ................so problem solved. I don't think I would take the chance and order another one though.

Bought this as a Christmas Present for my bourbon-loving boyfriend. It was easy to order and arrived VERY quickly. Since I was having it monogrammed, I was shocked to see it on my doorstep only about a week after I ordered it. It was in prefect condition. Heavy weight with a quality feel. No nasty plastic or cork stopper to get dirty. The monogramming wasn't cheap looking either. The boyfriend LOVED it. He uses it every day and shows it off every chance he gets. Definitely worth it!

Love the decanter itself. Very solid and stylish. I had them place my initial on it and the initial looks fine, but it is obviously off-center, which is very annoying.

The wrong monogram style was engraved. It was suppose to be the block style that is shown on my purchase but it was not. since this was going to be an ongoing gift (ordering various pieces for holidays over time) I am unhappy with the engraving mistake!

Monogram not as advertised

I got this monogramed for a birthday gift and it is very disappointing. The monogram is very small- about one-third the size of the monogram pictured. The decanter is nice and does not wobble as others have said but the monogram looks like an afterthought rather than a statement. I am sure they will still like it but I am disappointed as it is not what I expected.

We purchased the square decanter for groomsmen in our wedding. They were well liked by all of the guys and we bought one for ourselves. We really like them. Heavy material and overall good product.

Okay for the price

I have this square decanter and the library decanter. Both wobble, but for the price, you can expect that. I am pleased with both but I will add one recommendation. Do not get the monogramming. The monogram is not cut into the glass, it's just adhesive letters stuck on the side. While the letters are straight, they differ in shading throughout the monogram and it just looks kind of cheap up close. The letters are also starting to chip and scratch off. The only upside to the monograming is that once it looks bad enough, I can just get out the goo-gone and get rid of it entirely. Pottery Barn should probably reconsider this method of monograming.

This decanter wobbles. I returned it to the store and they all seemed to wobble. Bad product- don't purchase this.

This was bought as a gift for my father-in-law, a dedicated scotch drinker. The decanter is beautiful and it was quite difficult to give away after admiring it. It is a heavy piece made of thick glass and can be monogrammed, which leads to my only complaint. I had a single initial/letter engraved and it looked much smaller in person than shown online or in the catalog. I would suggest ordering a 2-3 letter monogram to make it more noticeable.

Decanter - wabbles

Because the crease of the decanter goes down the corners of the decanter, it wabbles on our tables. We purchased 8 for our groomsmen and they all seemed to love it. But I wasn't 100% happy with the way it wabbles. Note: this only happens when you move it back and forth with your hand. It stands sturdy when you place it on your counter.

I had been looking for a pair of decanters to hold the two mouthwashes we use. These are perfect! Really like diamonds for the bathroom counter. They have a handmade quality to them with still being elegant. Definitely would recommend!

I love this Decanter! A friend of mine told me about it because she bought it for her husbands bar. It has become a great gift. I have one for myself but will be buying more to house different "types" of beverages for entertaining. The clear bottle is simple but adds elegance to any bar or beverage center... I would recommend this item for anyone.

We were looking for a decanter at various stores and couldn't find a style we liked. It has a simple design that matches any dining room, bar, etc.
