Silver Lantern Ornament
Place a holiday keepsake or a safe, flameless candle inside this lantern and hang on the tree or add to a cheerful holiday display. 4" wide x 3.5" deep x 6.5" high; 1.5"-diameter hanging loop Made of steel with a polished finish and glass panes. Monogramming is available at an additional charge. Monogram will be centered on one side of the lantern.

Beautiful home accessory!

These lanterns are large for an ornament so pay attention to the dimensions stated. But they are high quality items that can be hung on the tree or used as decor for tables, mantles, window ledges, shelves, etc. They open and close easily. I ordered several toward the end of the season and one arrived with a cracked section, but Pottery Barn's customer service was excellent and prompt when taking care of it!

Love this lantern

I thought this item would be much smaller -- something I could hang on my tree. I COULD actually hang this on my tree. It is made to hang on the tree. But it is MUCH bigger than all my other ornaments. So I placed it on the coffee table, and I LOVE it there. It is large enough to be noticed, but small enough not to take up a lot of room. It is every bit as classy-looking as it appeared in the catalogue. I am very happy with it!

Nice Idea

I bought 5 of these for christmas. Had them all monogramed with three initials. All but one was good. The one that was not good had the initials all off centered. I was embarrassed when that couple opened there's. They must of thought where did she get theses? I think the idea is cute. Also,I wish the warning label for using a candle in it was on the bottom or made to get off easily because who wants to have a big white circle label in sight when placing a momentum in the box. Also I would not call it an ornament as it defiinitley is too large to put on any tree branch.

Beautiful Silver Lantern Ornament

I purchased three lanterns as gifts for co-workers. To one lantern, I added a miniature snowman and a miniature Christmas tree. I put fake snow around the bottom and added a flameless tea light candle. In another, a placed two miniature palm trees and a miniature flamingo with a Christmas wreath around it's neck. I put sand on the bottom and added a flameless tea light candle. In the third, I placed a miniature palm tree, a miniature beach chair, miniature flip flops, and a miniature sand bucket. I put sand all around the bottom. Being that the lantern was so full of items, there was no room to put a tea light candle. ALL THREE of my co-workers were delighted with their lanterns. They turned out beautifully!!
