Master potters hand throw and glaze each terra-cotta vase in this eclectic collection. I finally pulled the trigger on this vase when they put them on sale. I wanted to see it in person, but was not disappointed when it came. I have a casual Tuscan style and this goes perfect. Used in master bedroom with some airy tall faux branches. Love it!

Great Fit for Space

The Sicily vase offers both design and detail I was seeking as an addition to our Family Room. The vase itself is substantial in size and weight, presenting the look of old world with a modern flare. The Ochre color of the vase is a perfect fit.

I love the look of this vase, it looks old and rustic. I placed the Pottery Barn branches in it next to a tray of the rustic candles and a framed picture and it makes a pretty vignette.

These vases intrigued me, because they look exactly like a set of antique wine vases from Italy that a friend of mine has had for years. Online they are shown on a sofa table in various sizes, styles and colors. I ordered three in different sizes and colors for a cubby that I have in my foyer. They were backordered for several weeks and I forgot about them. Well...the first one arrived and it was enormous! That must have been a huge sofa table in the picture, because they were much bigger than I pictured. (PB probably had sizes with the descriptions, but I didn't pay attention ;-)) I did manage to place all 3 in my cubby. The presentation is more crowded, but looks even better than I expected. Beautiful, Quality, Gorgeous, and Better than Anticipated.

The color is not even close to what it is labeled as. It said persimmon. The color persimmon is orangey. I realize since it is glazed pottery, the color is not exact....but my urn is more yellow. In fact, it is the same exact color of the medium ochre vase that I already own. A little disappointing for such an expensive piece.

I purchased the XL Persimmon Vase along with three fig branches to fill it. (If you do the same, use packing paper to fill up the bottom of the vase or the branches will sit too low.) I have it on one end of my PB's Printer's Media cabinet and it's simply stunning. It looks like the kind of artisan piece that someone found while vacationing in Italy. I'm glad I splurged on it; it's a "wow"! Keep in mind that the photo of it on PB's website has it placed in direct sunlight so the color is a tad brighter and shinier than the piece itself. Don't let that stop you: the color and finish is wonderful nonetheless!
