Shelby Storage Tower
An antique printer's cabinet was the model for this piece, offering ample storage within its compact footprint. Ideal for shoes, the tower has five adjustable shelves that can be angled for display, positioned flat to store clothes and bedding, or removed to accommodate large items. 24" wide x 15" deep x 66" high Hand crafted with a kiln-dried solid pine frame. Distressed by hand for a timeworn look with a multistep distressed pine finish. Detailed with aged bronze door pulls and drawer bin pulls. Doors with magnetic closure open a full 180 degrees. Features five adjustable shelves with lips that can be angled for display. Two double-height drawers at the bottom have bluff-cut fronts. Catalog / Internet only.

Great Solution for Small Space

Living in NYC we had limited space but needed to add another dresser-like storage unit to our bedroom. Since the space was less than the standard 31" width, we were very constrained in the options available to us. When we found this storage tower it was perfect. It fit nicely into the small space we had and because it is taller, afforded us more storage space in height. The delivery service was fantastic and we are thoroughly enjoying this addition to our room. Be aware that this is a small unit, but if space is an issue, this is a great purchase.

wonderful additional storage

this furniture piece is much nicer than it appears in the catalog or on line; thought it was a little pricey, but it has a wonderful rich finish and woodgrain; well worth the cost; also deeper than it looks; I bought it to store tees and sweaters and find lots of extra room; the construction is excellent, better than it appears; only had to install the shelves (easy); looks absolutely beautiful in my bedroom

Great for organized storage

Shelves are wide enough for shirts and shorts. Not so deep that you can't see everything as soon as you open it.

Exactly What I Needed

I only gave this tower 4 stars for a few reasons; that if they don't bother you, it would be a 5 star product! I was worried when this tower arrived as it didn't seem to be packaged well and I was worried that it would be damaged when I opened it. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it made the shipping ordeal without a scratch (I think P.B. was lucky on mine - they may want to look into this, though). Secondly, the drawers on the bottom aren't on any tracks or rails, so they just slip in and out a little sloppily/loosely. Thirdly, the cupboard inside smells like varnish/stain and it's taking a while to dissipate, so all my towels and such "smell", but I'm sure in time it will go away. The tower's stain color is a little more darker/grey than the "golden" hue shown, but over all I love the destressed finish, hardware and design of this tower and it fit exactly where I wanted it.
