Love this beautiful quilt and shams, it really changes the look of a room. It is not like a traditional block country quilt; rather, it has an exotic vibe to it. Wanted to mention that the color of the edging around the quilt & shams, and the whole back side of the quilt is not the turquoise blue that is pictured on the webpage in the 1st & 3rd pictures. Look at the 2nd and 4th pix, that is more true to the actual shade. The material is very thin, so I wouldn't use it where it would get rough treatment. Also, I measured mine, and it is 94" x 95", anyway, fits my Queen bed nicely, and is super soft and drapes nicely at the corners of the bed. Highly recommend.

The scalloped quilt and shams came a few days ago and they are beautiful and very soft right out of the box. Our bedroom is a little dark, so the colors are slightly more muted than in the online images, but I think that makes it a little more restful. The different patterns and colors give you many options for wall colors and accessories. The quilt is a nice weight (we have it on top of a summerweight down blanket) and breathes well. We ordered the king size for our queen bed and it fits well, with just a few inches of bedskirt showing. Basically, it just makes me want to snuggle up in my bed, which is the whole point, right?

This bedding is everything you would expect from Pottery Barn! The colors are beautiful and brighten the room so much. I've had a lot of compliments on it!

finishes off a lovely guest room makeover

Bought this patchwork quilt for our guest room. It is well-made and super-soft with beautiful colors -- a great way to spruce up a simple room needing some extra charm. Our cat is proof positive that it's warm and inviting. He now spends his afternoons lounging on the bed. What a life.

too little for too much

my future daughter in law is registered with you. I love Pottery Barn and was very pleased she chose this store. I was not pleased with the fact that the quilt she loved was only available online/catalog. Because of this I was not only charged tax but also shipping. The cost of the quilt was 249.00 tax was 22.93 and shipping was 24.90 making the grand total for this $296.83. Now how am I supposed to get the shams. Once again online/catalog. Most stores don't charge shipping when the price is over $100. Very disappointed in Pearl River

The colors really pop and are perfect for oceanside living! It was a gift and she absolutely loves it. Well-made, unusual scalloped pattern. Very eye catching!

Color much brighter in real life

The yellow in this bedding was much brighter when I received the quilt than it looked online. The patterns on the comforter were also very busy. However, the fabric is sooo soft to the touch. Love the organic cotton. In the end, I returned the quilt and shams because it was too much to pay for bedding that I wasn't totally in love with.

i bought this for my 11 year old gilr , for our new house . it is still new , so i havn't washed it . but when i got it out of the box both me and my doughter loved it . it looks better than the picture

The colors in the photos online make this well made quilt appear more vibrant than they actually are. I was expecting a brighter color palate to work with in the bedroom. I will probably add a punch of color with some brighter throw pillows.

Just What I Wanted

I wanted a quilt that was bright and happy for my new apartment. It looked great in the picture, but was just perfect when I opened the box. I was surprised about how fast it arrived. Great experience

nice lovely colors and patterns, bright and cheery. thin quilt, fine for our weather. the stitching for the scalloped pieces seems a bit cheap, some of it is already a bit loose. that could be improved on. expenisve, but never comes on sale, so i went ahead and bought it!

Added some needed color to my room

This quilt is great, not super heavy but good for Fall and Spring. The color and patchworkyness on it just as I expected. The only negative comment I had was from my mother who was visiting who told me she wished it was little bigger (my bed is a queen that is low to the floor so I bought the Queen size), but I have enjoyed it so far.

This quilt is more beautiful than pictured. And...it is so very soft. Very rich looking and so soft you don't even need a sheet under it. It feels so good on your skin by itself. I reverse it to solid when I want a more sophisticated look. I love it!

The Scallop Patchwork Quilt looks fantastic in the catalogue. We waited for many months for it to go on sale (which finally happened about a month ago during a special short-term sale). When the quilt and pillow shams arrived we were very disappointed in the quality of the fabric, as well as in the difference in overall appearance between the catalogue photo and the real product. When we returned it to the store, even the cashier at Pottery Barn was surprised at how it looked as compare to the picture in the catalogue. NOTE: This product was not available for one to see at a store. This was one of the very few items we have ever returned to Pottery Barn.

We love this quilt! We searched high and low, cheap and expensive and looked at this one forever. After probably 6 months we waited and debated and there was a sale so we got it. We probably would have bought it much sooner if it had been in the store, since it is only available online we didn't really want to pay shipping. It is light, so in the winter we may want something warmer underneath, but it is cheerful and makes our room feel relaxed.

This quilt was just perfect for my bedroom which is Caribbean themed. It seemed to pick up all the accent colors I had - lime green, aqua, yellow -and more. Really just perfect and the stitching in various curves for each fabric separation is great.
I haven't washed it yet but so far I am absolutely pleased - my husband thought it was great too!!!
