Crafted of leather with a lightly distressed cognac coloring, this piece offers handsome, durable storage. 6.5" wide x 8.5" high x 1" thick Distressed leather with dyed-to-match stitching. Monogramming is available at an additional charge. Monogram will be centered on the cover, to the left of the front closure.

All I can say is this is what I needed. Words cannot describe how I was just dying for one of these journals in its own leather case. I will have this leather case forever as all I can do is when book runs out I can just buy another one I will have this leather case forever...

Quite disappointed in the quality of this item - given the three months I had to wait to receive it. The journal is cheap-looking compared to how it appeared in the catalog. The monogram is essentially a "cut-out" of the leather, revealing the cardboard backing beneath. Overall, would not recommend this item nor reorder for myself. I am a collector of journals, and this one just does not hold to the standards of Potter Barn.

Purchased this for my husband and love the way it looks on his nightstand. Very rugged and smooth. It is nicely made and looks like it will last a long time. He loves it.

I bought almost everything from the Saddle Leather collection for my father for Christmas. He's the "rugged gentleman" type and is constantly traveling. These gifts couldn't have been more perfect for him. They are very high quality and attractive! Love them!

Even though the journal is maketed as a product appealing primarily to men, I bough it for myself and I absolutely love it! The leather has a rich, antique finish, and the pencil included adds a bit of whimsy. Great price point for a multi-functional journal that I will be using to track incidental expenses.

The journal is beautiful and I love how it holds together with the rustic looking pencil....however, the pencil lead was broken when I received my package, and after many attempts at sharpening it...the lead seems to be broken all the way throughout :(
