Saddle Leather Valet
Crafted with the finest workmanship, our Saddle Leather Valet is an elegant way to store your valuables. The leather is infused with a lightly distressed cognac coloring, and dyed-to-match stitching gives a refined finish. 11.5" wide x 6" deep x 4" high Distressed leather with dyed-to-match stitching. Faux suede interior. Monogramming is available at an additional charge. Monogram will be centered on the lid.

Useless Item

I don't normally write reviews, but I feel PB should have some feedback on what they sell in this case. The case offered here is attractive looking but is pretty much useless. The way the space is divided on the interior leaves little functional space to store items. This isn't apparent from the photo which pictures the case half closed. It looks like there should be a decent amount of storage, but there really isn't, so it's not practical at all. Unfortunately, because I had this monogrammed for my husband, I wasn't able to return it, which is really annoying since it was a gift. Don't waste your time on this or the cuffling case, which suffers from the same design flaw.

I was very disappointed in the quality of this product. I had it engraved so I couldn't return it. The top of the box was all spotted and did not feel like leather...not the typical Pottery Barn standards...

I ordered two of these. One was perfect, the other had an error in the monogramming and I am still waiting for a replacement.

I really liked the men's valet. It made a really nice gift. Only one suggestion: Consider putting dividers in the top tray for cuff links. (My husband plays in an orchestra and wears cuffed shirts.) He found the backing of a nice picture frame, the same sable color, and cut pieces to divide the top tray. Without the dividers, it is still a very nice gift.

This is a beautiful piece. The quality screams PB and I am glad I ordered for the man of my life. However bottom drawer pockets are way to small to be functional.

A Bit Small, but Beautiful

I bought this for my husband; the burnished initials look very nice on the lid of the valet, and the overall color is beautiful. I was expecting it to be a bit larger, especially for the price. However, it still made a great gift and he really likes it.

Pretty box without monogramming

I was pleased with the quality of the actual box, but unless your initials are similar in size and width I would not recommend monogramming. My husbands initials are JGW and even though the second box we got did have a centered monogram, due to the nature of the letters in relation to each other at a glance they do not look centered. I had to return the first one because the monogram was not centered on the front of the box. Pottery Barn fixed the problem and we are pleased with the replacement.

I loved the valet .. my only problem was when I ordered it I was ordering it from my phone and could not see the order of the monogram so I put in the initials that I wanted to put on the box and when looking at the larger picture realized that the last initial was to be put in the middle..... it's ok he still likes it ... just confusing on the monogram part ...

My husband had little things scattered all over his dresser and I wanted to clean them up. But, he did not want me to touch any of his things. So I purchased Saddle Leather Valet, Cuff link box, and catchall for him. He got a hint and the day after he had received them the mess was gone. Also, these items went on sale a week after I purchased them and Bottery Barn adjusted the prices for the items that I had purchased online. Great gift for men who do not want women to touch their Things!

I recently purchased the Saddle Leather Valet for my boyfriend who has been accumulating watches and cuff links. It was hard to find a jewelery box for a rugged man however this was the perfect fit. Masculine and classy. The only bummer was that the packaging had tape stuck to the side of the box and when I removed it there was a mark. Thank goodness this is a rustic piece however it was a bit careless for the price of the piece. All in all an excellent gift!
