Love the ledges. The rustic finish goes very well with my coffee table. But I was very disappointed the easy hanging system (which was a selling point for me) was not included, as the video stated. Had to purchase different toggles because the screws on the toggles provided kept sliding back against the wall. Quite frustrating!!

Don't Use the Mounting Hardware!

I love my new shelf, but the mounting hardware provided does not work. There is no way that it can hold the shelf tightly against the wall as is necessary. Unfortunately, I did not realize this until after I made the holes in my wall, but I used other wall anchors and the shelf covered the original holes. Now it looks great!

Good but watch installation

Very nice quality shelf. Do yourself a favor and throw the installation stuff away and use sheet rock anchors. The anchor supplied does not work and leaves a huge hole if you try to yank it out. And we are intelligent handy folk. The screw that you put in doesn't hold and slides in when you try to hang the shelf. Very frustrating!

Shelves are great. Too bad hanging materials that came with them were horrible. Once you get drywall hangers and screws into the wall, you can't hang the shelves on them because they keep pushing back into the wall. VERY FRUSTRATING.

So excited about this shelf, until I saw it in person. I thought it would be a little more rustic / found. Instead, it has a glossy look, which makes it look cheap. Reminds me of mass produced warehouse mountain home furniture.

The 4' ledge is perfect for my dining room. The color is exactly as pictured and it is much lighter than I expected. I was worried about wall damage if it was too heavy. My son and I hung it without any problems and it makes the family portraits a focal point. I'm thinking of ordering another one for our hallway. Looks beautiful!

I love the wooden shelf I purchased from you on line. I am using it to display my carved fetish collection which I placed in an old printer type storage tray. As the display is very heavy I choose this method rather than hanging directly on the wall. I have received many compliments on it.

Pretty but hard to hang

Beautiful shelves but the mounting tools provided make the shelves extremely hard to hang. Screws would not stay far enough out of the brackets long enough to hang shelf. They kept getting pushed in flush with the wall. We could not pull the anchors provided out without ripping out a good chunk of the wall. Finally decided to hot glue the screws so they would remain sticking out of the anchor and not slide in flush to wall. That did the trick. If we ever move they may stay with the house.

Rustic touches in a cottage!

I really love how this shelf feels so authentic and vintage in its design. Although it is rustic, it is also refined so the lines and edges are clean, maintaining a polished characteristic. It is a great way to display photos for a creative looking wall. I use the 3-foot sizes in my living room, and they look fantastic. I am checking into adding a 4-foot ledge. I am a person who loves functional pieces that look great.

I purchased this ledge to display frames of some of my favorite photos. I am a photographer and was looking for a ledge with that high end studio look. I have it in my studio along with my photographer's lamp, work desk, leather Manhattan chair, and Bedford Project Table. It looks wonderful! I highly recommend this lovely ledge!!

This ledge was exactly what I was looking for, and is the perfect fit for our rustic - vintage country house. My husband installed it pretty quickly and easily and we've already gotten compliments. You can tell by looking at it that the wood is high-quality and the stain perfectly matches our entertainment center.

This shelf is gorgeous. My father put it up for me using his own brackets that will hold better since other reviews said the brackets that come with it are not strong enough. I really wish it was available in stores so I did not have to pay shipping.

These are great shelves for the money. Very solid. Used the templete for mounting which made it easier. Although mounting into a stud was easy, the drywall anchors worked.. but it took a couple tries to get the ledge in place. Purchased 3 and used them for grouping photos for an accent wall.

These ledges are a nice size for a hallway and well made too. We started with the rustic shelves but they were too deep. I haven't gotten any frames up but will soon. These shelves are great quality for the price. They come with a guide to help with installation, but it didn't help much. Still didn't have a problem with installing three of the four foot ledges.
