I have a bright red enamel wood burning stove and I propped this right next to that! It just adds to the rustic look and pulls the room together! A word of advice, have something to hang of the rungs as soon as you put it up...everyone was asking me if I was going to put my ladder away, while I was looking for the perfect pair of stinged mittens to hang!
