Ruched Voile Duvet Cover & Sham - Ivory
Airy cotton voile is gathered into soft ripples using a technique called ruching. The result is a bedding ensemble with remarkable depth and texture. Front: 100% cotton voile with cotton lining. Back: 200-thread-count 100% cotton percale. Detailed with dark khaki stitching that runs horizontally along the front. Finished with ruffled edges. Duvet cover has a hidden button closure and interior ties to keep the duvet in place. Sham has an envelope closure; insert is sold separately. Machine wash. Catalog / Internet Only. Imported.

I got this fabulous bedding about 2 years ago and I absolutely love it. It looks gorgeous with a wide range of colors and patterns. But the other day when I was gently making the bed, I snagged another thread of the stitching. One of several that have torn. It looks like a hot mess now. I love it so much I have considered buying another duvet to replace the current one but I know it will just happen again. I don't have pets or children and I have taken great care of it. If you have to have it: buy it for your seldom-used guest room or buy two and use one as a backup when the other one starts looking too shabby.

This is a beautiful duvet cover. A lovely shade of cream with
camel stitching. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the stitching is delicate and not the best choice for a young teenage girl. Her toes get caught up in the stitches and is starting to snag. But that is because she lives on her bed! We have paired it with a recycled sari throw and has pulled together the whole "boho" look in her room.

I've had this bedding for about a month now, and I couldn't be happier. It feels great and looks great! Highly recommend! As for the quality issues, I have had no problems so far (but I have no animals).

Love the look, but material is too delicate

I was wary of buying this bedding because of the price, but I couldn't find anything online or in any store that I liked as much. It's such a unique look, and really does look as good as the pictures.
It's made well, but the threading/stitching is pretty delicate. The stitching came undone in 2 places when I first opened the package- frustrating because the stitching really is the whole look. Nothing has come undone since, but I have to be very careful with. I'll probably just use a needle and thread to fix it and take it to get dry cleaned, but I wish it didn't require so much care.
Overall, very very cute bedding. Wish the shams weren't sold separate..

This is my favorite duvet I've ever bought. It is a great warm neutral that is still exciting. It is very delicate and pretty. The threads holding the ruching together are somewhat fragile, but I've put it through quite a bit and I've only had to tie one off. The comforter stays in place, there are ties inside to keep it at the corners. It is soft and very comfortable. Love it!

Pretty, But A Waste of Money

I really do love the look of this duvet. It is elegant and feminine, but unfortunately, the twine used to ruche the fabric is SO cheap, it breaks if you even look at it wrong. I am constantly having to tie off and cut strings because they have broken apart. If you have pets that like to crawl on your bed--this will destroy your bedspread! It is delicate to the point of being absurd! I would expect something of higher quality for what I paid for it. :(

I have been looking at this duvet for over a year and finally made the decision to purchase. Why I waited so long makes no sense now that I have it. It is quite simply one of the most lovely duvets I have ever seen. Although the price point is higher, it is well worth it. There are internal ties to help keep the down bedding secure within the duvet and I have not noticed any slipping like I normally do with duvets. It is very unique and perfect if you are looking for something neutral that isn't a plain color. You can't get this in the store, only on-line, but the picture is a good representation of how it looks. I highly recommend this duvet!

I love this duvet cover. The ruching is beautiful and feminine. The material is really soft. The only complaint I have is really with all duvet covers in that its hard to get the comforter to stay in place. Very true to the picture.
