Just what I expected
August 4, 2012
I wanted a large, unbreakable platter for BBQ and outdoors. This fits the bill nicely. The blue color is true to the photo shown on the website.

Rustic Italian Outdoor Platter

The Mediterranean blue color of the outdoor rope platter works well with my Mediterranean styled, rustic terrace. The blue rope design, which I also have in salad/desert plates and in white and terra cotta edging on the larger dinner plates, completes the summer, subtle Italian look.
Solid colors with "rope" edging and irregular shape makes this an original departure from the usual Italian melanite (faux Deruta) styles.
Highly recommended. Frequent source of guest comments -- "Where did you get these"? Thanks, Pottery Bard, for the good taste and sturdy design!
