Loomed of textural linen/cotton, our Riviera Stripe Drape's cross-woven design creates a sun-bleached effect. I have been looking for white curtains for sometime now. When I saw the pictures online of the curtains they looked absolutely beautiful! I was so excited to get them! They looked white on the photos, however upon opening the package up, I noticed they were cream almost dingy looking. That really upset me. I loved the bit of blue in the curtain, but the white was not a true white and it made the curtains look cheep. They were anything but. I hope pottery barn will offer this curtain in white, I will love to purchase that! I love all of the other products I have bought online and in store, this was just a dissapointment .

Best Room Darkening Drapes

I am very happy with the Riviera Stripe room darkening drapes. The color matches other porcelain blue home decor items I've purchased. The clips are great and easy to use and the darkening panel really does it's job well. The texture of the drapery fabric is like heavy, somewhat soft linen, matching the jute bordered throw pillows I have. They arrived before the scheduled date, as have all items I've ordered before. I steam pressed the travel folds out and hung them the same day. Beautiful and easy! I love shopping Pottery Barn because I can count on getting a quality product every time.

These drapes did a great job of blocking the light and the lining was not heavy and stiff like a typical light blocking material. I returned them because they were not white as pictured. The fabric was really a gray or "dirty white" and the stripes were very muted, not crisp as pictured. I would have kept them, otherwise, as they did block light well.

Serve their purpose in terms of black-out shading and are beautiful and subtle too. Must get drapery rings and not clips with these.

I like them, but it would be nice if they had all been the same length. Two of them are a little longer than the other two, but they are hung now. I really like the black out lining. I wish the fabric was a little different because it wrinkles. That should be addressed. Obviously, these are made to open and close (thus the black out lining) and not just hang there for decoration. The opening and closing is showing the wrinkles. I am not looking forward to ironing these again!

I have been searching everywhere for lined curtains for our dinning room that coordinated with the blues and beige that were already there. These are the perfect finishing touch of country cottage to add to any room.

The drapes didn't provide the contrast I was hoping for with the white and light blue stripes. The white fabric was maybe a little muted and with the stripes being a very pale blue, they didn't really pop much at all. I ended up going with the blue Peyton linen drapes instead.

A great addition to any room

These drapes are beautiful and made with high quality fabric. I hung four panels in a bay window in my dining room, and it really elevates the feel of the space. They have a very soft (not too rough) linen-y texture. I purchased the sandalwood stripe. I was surprised that the stripe color was so soft and subtle--I was expecting more of a striped look, but they are lovely nonetheless.

Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of these panels. Ordered two and may order two more. Love the colors and the backing. Totally blacks out light from the window when closed which is wonderful since my window faces west and my TV is on the east wall. Thank you for a wonderful product!

these drapes are fabulous quality, size, color...everything is perfect for our beach house. The black out feature is PERFECT for privacy and when you want to watch a movie on a sunny day. I highly recommend this purchase to anyone thinking about drapes...I had hunted for awhile in all kinds of catalogs! You couldn't have something as nice made for the price of these. You would spend way more!! And for as simple/casual as they are, they bring a huge sense of classy style to my living/family room!

I was hesistant at first not knowing if they would filter the light out enough, but they actually do, they make a huge difference keeping the light and heat out of my bedroom. I love the texture and look of these drapes, they coordinate beautifully with my new Pottery Barn bedding. Living on the shore with direct sun and heat into my bedroom, I can assure you the blackout liner works great! I will be purchasing another pair for my guest room as well. I love all of the Pottery Barn merchandise, I've purchased outdoor drapes as well and I am very pleased with their products.

O.K. look, but not great at keeping light out

These drapes provide a nice "rustic" appearance (if you're going for a Provencal or country modern look.) I was hoping that the presence of a blackout liner meant that these would be room-darkening, but they really are not. Tons of light filters in every morning. I would call them light-filtering rather than light blocking. PBK's sailcloth drapes with blackout panels that I have in my kids' rooms work much better than these to keep out the light. Overall, they're o.k., but I don't think they're worth any extra $ for the supposed blackout lining.

I'm impressed with the quality of the materials used, the heft of both the linen and liner cloth, but it's so sad that all 3 drapes I purchased were so poorly sewn. The sides are severely puckered where the front and liner are sewn together, and one of the drapes is about 2 inches shorter than the other two! Good thing it's hidden behind a dresser. Also, you will need to steam them to get all the wrinkles out, but it's sort of moot since the uneven sewing just creates strange creases anyway.

I first ordered the rectangular pillow cover in this fabric and was thrilled with the vibrant colors. I then ordered the drapery panels for my bedroom. I was so excited as the photo of the room with these draperies looks so airy and beautiful. Unfortunately, the drapery panels I received are not the bright and cheery ivory and sea-blue as is the pillow cover, instead they are a dull light gray and blue-gray. Although the color is far from what I expected the quality is good. If I new before ordering what the color was going to be I would never have ordered these.
