Gorgeous Cabinet, not much room for TV

This is just beautiful above my mantle, but unfortunately the doors do not close with my tv and my wall mount. We ended up buying a new slim tv and wall mount just to keep the cabinet- but if that is not an option for you I could see you being upset about your purchase. There is only about 5" instead of the stated 7" and I think this was an error in the way it was designed or manufactured as they intended the doors to add extra room.

What We Were Looking For

I spent a lot of time looking at options to hide a TV in our bedroom before settling on this. In looking at various pieces of furniture, apparently with the advent of flat panel TVs, less and less people are concerned with hiding them, so there are not a ton of great options.
This piece is well made, very substantial. And it looks great when it is closed.
The only suggestions I have:
1. The other reviewer is correct, there is a discrepancy between the instructions and the website and I believe the website is wrong. I don't think it would be possible to fit a 56" TV in this thing. Ours is 46" and there is just enough room for proper ventilation, cable routing, etc.
2. Be very careful about what mounting bracket you buy. You definitely need a flush mount that keeps the TV pretty close to the wall. The TV we used is an LED, which is about as thin as they get, and with a flush mount bracket the doors JUST close.

The Riddling Rack Media Solution is Beautiful. Just what we were looking for. However, PLEASE consider providing more measurements on your website. Specifically - the INTERIOR measurements where the TV will fit. Yes the cabinet is 7.5 inches deep but because of the doors there really is only about 5 inches for a TV to fit. We purchased this cabinet thinking we had plenty of room for our 6 in deep 46 inch TV but it WILL NOT fit. Also the website states that this cabinet will fit most 56 inch TVs but the instructions that came with the cabinet states that it will fit most 46 inch TV's. Why the discrepancy?
Because I really do love this cabinet (very well made...just beautiful) we ended up getting a new TV. We had to purchase a "slim" model and a "low profile" articulating arm mount. We have yet to hang it but I know it will look beautiful once it is up.
