Rhodes Kitchen Crock

I agree with the comments that the larger crock is really big. But it is very nice looking and does fit a lot of utensils. I looked everywhere for a nice one without finding anything. I think it is worth the price. I did place a block in the bottom to keep some of the smaller items more handy.

I bought this as a gift for my mom and it looks absolutely beautiful in her kitchen. I purchased the larger one and it is a great size and great quality.

Cavernous; too large

I expected my utensils to be accessible as shown in the picture. Instead, this cavernous crock swallowed them up so that maybe a 1/2 inch was showing of the tallest utensils. It looked ridiculous with the utensils barely peaking above the crock. I suppose putting a block in the bottom so that they would be more exposed would work but not for $40. I don't want to look down inside a crock to look for a particular utensil. I have the smaller version for my whisks and its perfect; I was expecting the same ratio for the larger crock and utensils.

I got the larger size crock which is a very generous size -- perfect for our many utensils that until now have been stuck and squeezed into a much too small holder. This Rhodes crock is great quality and looks beautiful on my countertop. Highly recommend. Now i am thinking of getting the smaller size too for smaller accessories like kitchen scissors and spatulas...Very pleased.

Perfect Utensil Holder

I love my crock! I had looked at other crocks and didn't find a style that I loved. When I found this crock on Pottery Barn, I had to have it! The style is simple and clean and I liked the crackle design. I was expecting it to be white, but it is actually more of an off white color. I purchased the small and I have about 10-15 utensils in it now and still have room for more.

These are holding all my kitchen utensils. They seem a bit fragile-not the heavy, dense pottery I thought they would be. I am quite pleased with them so far.

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A LARGER KITCHEN CROCK AND FOUND THIS ONE. IT IS GREAT. LOVE THE LOOK AND SIMPLICITY OF IT AND OF COURSE THE SIZE. IT IS STURDY AND LOOKS GREAT ON MY COUNTER. IT HOUSES MY LONGER KITCHEN UTENSILS AND KEEPS EVERYTHING HANDY WHEN COOKING.

I like that this crock looks vintage. There are lots of reproductions out there, but not many of them are plain like this one. I do think it's a little pricey, but to me it's worth it. Looks great next to my antique enamelware bread box.

We both love to cook. We both have favorite tools that we like to use. This crock is big enough to hold his and mine. It's simple form and color looks great in my kitchen.

Very pretty crocks that are substantial. Great for storing utensils or dry ingredients. When I tried to use them as a vase for flowers they seep a small amount of wetness. Otherwise a great purchase.

Holds It All

Finally a utensil crock that holds it all! I was looking for something to hold all of our cooking utensils within reach by the stove & that was nice enough to leave out. Most of the crocks we have come across were either too small and/or something I would never leave sitting out. This crock met all of our needs: roomy enough to hold the utensils we wanted it to and the crackle glaze is beautiful, it looks great on our counter. We like it so much we are considering a second one!
