Loved until it started popping

I was very pleased with my 5X8 popcorn rug in ivory. Soft, no shedding at all, easy to keep clean etc. But then, one morning I noticed that one loop was higher than all the others. I thought, Oh well what's one loop. But soon his fellow loops began to show similar signs of rebellion. There are now many popups scattered around the rug -- almost forming a pattern. It is starting to look like it was meant to be. I can live with it but I'd like to know the best way to administer a cure to stop this and more importantly, a method to repair these unfettered loops.
I would appreciate some guidance, Thank you.

I purchased two of these rugs, one for my living room and one for my bedroom. So far they are beautiful. I have only been living with them a few weeks so I can't speak to the comments about them falling apart after a while, but I'm very happy with them. They look great in an NYC apartment. Very cushy under foot and they do not shed like other rugs. I'm very happy so far!

I purchased the Popcorn Loop rug for my bedroom (size 8 x 10). It looks lovely on my dark wood floors and feels nice and plush to walk on. Nice quality & well made. I am super happy with it and the ivory color is great, it makes all the other colors in the room pop!

sheds more than a family of long-haired dogs

I've had this rug for about 1 1/2 years, and finally have given up on it. It IS thick, cozy, and better-looking than I feared "popcorn" might be. HOWEVER, from day one it has shed big clumps of fiber, which has necessitated almost daily vacuuming of our house to deal with the fibrous piles which accumulate in the corners of every room on the same floor as that rug. If I had realized the situation was not temporary, it would not have lasted as long as it has. The sisyphean task of vacuuming this rug killed my vacuum last week - at which point I rolled up the rug, and the problem disappeared.
The 8x10 also weighs over 100 lbs, so getting rid of it will be its own challenge.

Great texture, but falling apart!

We purchased this rug in an 8'x10' ivory and love the feel of it when barefoot. Have been impressed also by how it has been easy to keep stain-free (even in ivory!). However, after about a year we have struggled with individual loops popping out. We have no kids, no pets, and vacuum every other week. It's starting to look so sad and pathetic because of the gaps left when a loop unglues. The edges have frayed as well, and that's with minimal traffic/use! Would try another ivory rug, but not this one! Need to find a replacement so we can look like grown-ups and not college kids who can't keep a rug together. :(

I bought this rug as an accent rug for my newly finished bedroom and couldn't be happier. It looks great and is so well made. It's great to walk on and goes perfectly with everything in the room, including the bedding.
