Planked Manhattan Sign
A painterly map of Manhattan is given a fresh treatment on grainy, distressed planked wood that's broken over four squares. Look closely to see the city's current street names. Overall: 96" wide x 24" high x 1.5" deep; includes four 24" squares. Made of planked fir wood with a distressed painted finish. Map is printed with a UV ink-jet. Catalog / Internet only.

The item on the wall looks great. Hanging this sign was beyond difficult. The craftsmanship left something to be desired as the hooks on the back that were supposed to be used for hanging were not level and my husband and I didn't discover this until we drilled 8 holes into our wall. We eventually, just nailed in small brackets into the top of the signs and used nails to hang the pictures, but not before we had to patch up the holes in our walls. I wouldn't recommend this item unless you are extremely handy and crafty.

Mad about the extra holes in my wall

Love the picture but after following the instructions to the tee we had a slanted picture and 4 extra holes. What we didn't count on was the hooks on the picture to be mis measured. Check the hooks before you hang! So mad about the extra holes!

i have the plane in similar 4 planks and it is such a conversation piece - i own a travel agency and it is PERFECT for the office wall
My daughters have an apartment in the East Village, NY and so the NY planked map will be fun to have on their "at home in CT" bedroom wall.

This sign is an awesome addition to my living room. It has a rustic look yet it blends well with the furniture I have. Also, this sign fills my wall space very well and looks great. Many compliments have been received by people who have enjoyed seeing it in my home.

Nice Picture, hard to hang

We love the look of the picture(s) but the hooks on the back are not even with one another therefore the directions for hanging didn't work. We had to eyeball things and use a level repeatedly, but we did get it hung (albeit not perfectly). It was frustrating to have something that should have been done properly on the manufacturing end cause us to spend so much more time hanging the picture, but we do like the end result.

We just moved to CA from NY and love this wall art. It came quickly, looks good, sturdy wood, and smells good. It was just hard to hang them all straight in a row. That was our problem and not the pictures problem.

These wood frames brought a touch of home to our Texas apartment. It is always nice to look around the room and be reminded of NYC, the Big Apple, the place of a million dreams & one parking space.
