Planked Airplane Panels
Our portrait of a four-engine plane celebrates the golden age of aviation in sepia tones. Crafted of fir that is detailed with natural imperfections and splits in the wood, this artwork has a timeworn, rustic feel. 96" wide x 24" high x 2" thick Printed onto planked fir wood. Each set includes four squares. This product is hand finished and distressed so each will have a unique finish. Catalog / Internet Only.

I hesitated about purchasing this picture because it was 8 feet in length. But I am so happy I bought it....I hung it above our leather couch and it really looks great. It catches everyone's eye the minute they walk into that room. Well worth the money!!!

Perfect Anniversary Gift for my Traveler!

I have previously seen some negative reviews about these panels due to the "distressed" appearance. I really love the way this looks in my home. Yes, it is distressed, and is meant to look like that. I gave this product 4 stars because I would like the "distressed" pattern to be a little more random and not so "patterned". I hesitated to order due to the high cost of shipping and waited until PB offered free shipping. Very happy with the Planked Airplane Panels. I have waited a long time to get this!

Love the rustic look

I am very pleased with the way this art looks in my den. However, it was very hard to hang as the mounting hardward was not placed level on the back of the planks. That is my only complaint. The finished product looks very good and was exactly what I had in mind.

I love the look, but I found each panel was not constructed to the same size. The hanging hardware was not mounted exactly on the same point of each side of each panel. They were close but far enough off to make hanging the panels inaccurate and troublesome to get straight. I used a laser level and careful triple measuring of each location for the screws to hang each panel. The poor quality of the attachment of the hanging hardware on each panel made it impossible to to get it right on the first try. I expected much better from Pottery Barn!

My husband and I have been admiring this for sometime and yet have been waiting for it to go on sale. Yet Pottery Barn finally had Free shipping, thus this was an incentive for us to finally make thus purchase. It is really a winner and looks amazing in our home.

My husband and I had been struggling to find something to go over our oversized sectional (10ftx7ft) and when we saw this, we thought this just might be the perfect fit. And it is! It looks so amazing. We love the size, texture and "vintage" appearance and it goes well with our eclectic style. It has also become a huge conversation piece and receives compliments from everyone who sees it. We couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

Looks fantastic! The web site pictures do not show how great the planks truly look. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Was kind of pain to install, but worth it in the end. I jumped on this after buying the PB American Flag on planked wood and being so impressed with the vintage look the planks gave the art. I love the uniqueness of the wood planks instead of normal canvas.

Great Set of Panels

Wonderful picture for our large wall. Wanted a statement picture to fill the wall in our family room. This worked out really well because we could adjust the space between the panels to best fit the wall. Looks even better in person than it did online or in the catalog.

Love the airplane panels & have them on a wall next to our living area. We are a family of pilots - father, son, step-father, brother, nephews, so could not resist buying these airplane panels. They were easy to hang, they look perfect and we are so happy we purchased them!

I like this a lot.. it goes with our house, and is a nice piece of art. the only thing i did to help with install was use a laser level to put a line on the wall so i knew where to put the hooks on the wall.. once laser was up, took 5 minutes and was perfect.

No two are alike and we didn't end up with the one we were hoping for. In some of the pics it looks like it has more of a gray or blue undertone. That is what we hoped for. Instead it has a cream colored undertone. We thought about returning it but decided it wasn't worth the trouble. We don't have a store very close. Oh well. Better luck next time.

This grouping of planked airplane frames is striking on a large wall. Do not try to follow the hanging instructions that come with the set, you will never get them to hang straight and level.Use your common sense and hang them from the top wood frame section. Make a level line on the wall, bang in two nails or screws for each panel and your good to go in about 30 minutes.

The product seemed to be shipped from a distributor and not from Pottery Barn. The quality did not seem to live up to the image as seen on the website.I resturned it promptly.
