Great design! Little light

I fell in love with this lamp from the first sight. The design is beautiful and as you see in the photos. I bought it for the living room, but I think we'll need another floor lamp because this one does not provide enough light (you can put max of 60W bulb in it). It looks very different from what we used to see. I feel like it would fit many design styles- industrial, modern, vintage and more. I just love it!!

Way too cumbersome and not giving off enough light

I had high hopes for this lamp since it looks very cool. But after I got it, I found that it's too bulky and not bright enough. It's not very functional. I want to return it but am dreading taking such a huge box to store ...

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this Photographer's Tripod Floor Lamp because it has a modern look and ties in perfectly with my decor!!!!! The quality is OUTSTANDING and it is very easy to assemble!!!! I also LOVE this lamp because it's different from other floor lamps that I have seen and it has sooo much CHARACTER and DETAIL!!! Thanks Pottery Barn!

This lamp is just beautiful and much sturdier than I expected. Caution...it needs an R type bulb even though a "standard" bulb will fit in the socket. I thought my lamp didn't work at first, then I learned that an R bulb is a reflector bulb (the kind you put in recessed lights). Love this lamp. Puts off a warm glow on the walls and a decent amount of light.

Love the lamp. It looks great, I have the bronze one. Easy to put together (I did it by myself) except for one leg where holes didn't quite line up enough. Used a hacksaw to shave off small part of the metal bolt that protrudes above the nut on top part of leg and everything lined up perfectly after that.
Love that it has a dimmer on it as well. All I can say is that it is a great looking lamp and very sturdy.

Everyone who's seen this lamp just loves it. I'm changing up the look in my home to more of the industrial/mid century modern look and this is one of my show pieces. Love, love, love it and it has great lighting not to harsh but I use it for reading works perfect.

Very classy, dim lighting

I would have given this 5 stars for the look and the lighting, but one of the pegs it stands on didn't have the hole drilled properly so it doesn't quite screw in all the way, leaving it slightly lopsided - not noticable unless you're right up close to it so i didn't see a need to send for a new one. Hopefully that was a manufacturers defect on just my piece. Otherwise I am totally happy with my purchase.

We got this light to be used as an accent light in a game/movie room (in keeping with the theme). Everyone who has seen it asks where we got it. The directional lighting is great for "task" work. Highly recommend.

I've been drooling over this lamp for more than a year now. So happy to finally have it! It's beautiful. The dimmer is a fab feature. I even assembled it all by myself, without the hubby's help.

This lamp is heavy duty and of the highest quality. It goes perfectly in our media room which is themed with movie posters. I love that you can dim the lighting when needed.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is worth the price I spent. The only thing that was not in the description was how the light turns on. There is not a twist knob or button. There is a box, quite a ways down on the electrical cord that turns it on. So the box must be within reach. We stuck it between the sectional cushions. At first it was a problem, but now we are completely satisfied, and would totally recommend the purchase to others.

This is a substantial lamp and, I think well worth it's high price. It is solidly built (heavy) and very functional, especially with it's dimming feature. The only quirk is the inside positioning of the set screws for the legs. Because of that it is very difficult to tighten them unless you have an angled phillips head screw driver. Even a stubby one is too long to have adequate access, but the lamp is very stable anyways. Overall a gorgeous and functional accent piece for our living room.

I bought a pair of lamps for our media room. They are awsome. I am very impressed by the quality and flexibility of the lamps -- they could easily be moved for use in my family room.
