Cleaning is so easy!

After three years of almost daily use (except for six months in a storage unit), our Pearce sectional began to smell a bit "doggy." We removed the zippered covers and took them to a commercial laundromat where we placed them all in a front-loader with regular laundry detergent. Wow! After spending just $5 and two hours of our time, our sofa is like new and smells so fresh! The fabric is durable and easily cleaned. Wash in cold water, tumble dry. Very happy with our purchase!

Not so comfy

We bought the Pearce loveseat and sofa to replace our couches that my husband had before we were married that were over 10 years old. I had been coveting these couches for several years and was so excited to FINALLY have new couches. I picked these couches because I thought they would be extremely comfortable, versatile, easy to clean, and perfect for our family. I am quite disappointed that after owning them for nearly 2 years, they still don't have that broken-in comfortable feeling that the couch on display in the Pottery Barn store had. And trust me, these get used daily!! If I sit through an entire movie, my back is hurting before it is over because the couch is so uncomfortable. I won't admit it to my husband, because I don't want him to know how disappointed I am after spending this much money on furniture. But frankly, I'm disappointed. Especially because I know I am stuck with them for at least another 10 years. At least they look pretty....

I love this sofa from the moment I saw it. I bought this sofa last year around november and it was delivered a lot earlier than we were expenting it. I am reallly happy with my sofa the color (oatmeal) is just right and the fabric is soft. everyone that seats on it love it. It the sofa it firm enough without being hard or unconfortable to sit on. It looks like is going to last for many years.

This couch looks great in the living room, the seat is extra deep and very nice for taller people. You can sit back and be comfortable without slumping to try to get the cushions behind you.
It is very firm to sit on, but reading the other reviews online that is common until it gets some use. One thing to keep in mind is the color- it seems to be dark unless it is in direct light, which is hard to judge from the tiny swatches. So if you will have this in a darker room (we just dont get direct light in our living room) I would recommend going for the lighter shade.
Big plus- it is really easy to clean. With 2 adults and 2 long hair cats that was an absolute must. The cat hair just wipes right off.

I normally dont write reviews but felt I had to! We have the Pearce love seat with the chais in Everyday Suede (Light Wheat) and I love it. We have 2 young children under 2 and needed something durable and easy to clean. We have had the sofa for over a month and already had to clean up several spills - everything came right up so easily. (I just blotted them with water and let dry) We looked around for weeks before deciding on this and Im so happy with our purchase. The cushions are a bit stiff but I am hoping with time they will get softer. It also seemed a bit big for our room but I added some pillows and that seemed to help. Best part is we got it on sale - 30% off! Would definitely recommend.

My Pearce sofa and love seat in Nutmeg arrived two weeks ago and my family and I couldn't be happier. I loved the look of the sectional but just couldn't make it work with my family room layout (lots of windows and french doors) so opted for two pieces. This furniture is simply stunning and has given my room an updated yet traditional look. I wish I hadn't waited a year to purchase it!

Our new Pottery Barn Pearce sofa (light wheat) arrived a couple weeks ago. We love it. The quality is excellent. The down cushions are very firm but I'm sure they will break in after some use. We did a lot of shopping around before we purchased this sofa, but we always ended up back to Pottery Barn. My sister had bought the Pearce sectional about 6 months ago and highly recommended it. We have since added 3 PB pillows. Will recommend to family and friends.

We have had the Pearce Sofa in Light Wheat for over a year, and highly recommend it. The fabric cleans up well, and still looks like new. We also were dismayed at first, as other reviewers have mentioned, at how hard the cushions were when new. However, it is getting softer over time, and with pillows is extremely comfortable. Our previous couch became too soft over time, causing sitters to 'sink,' and I think the firmness will extend the life of this couch.

I looked around forever before buying this sofa. It is the best sofa I have ever owned. Yes, it is stiff at first but it just keeps getting more and more comfortable every day. The seat depth is perfect....not too deep and not too shallow. I like how soft yet durable the everyday suede is and I know we will enjoy this for many years. The delivery was amazing - the men cleaned their hands before handling the sofa so as not to soil it. The experience from beginning to end was remarkable. Thank you Pottery Barn!

Hard as a Rock!

I absolutely love the lines of the Pearce Sofa that I ordered...however, the sofa I received is not nearly as comfortable as the store sample. It is extremely hard and not plush like the sofa in the store. I called PB and they will be picking up my sofa and returning it. Good customer service. Although they did tell me that the sofa needs to be "broken in" - with just two of us sitting on it a few hours a night I don't see how we'll ever be able to "break in a sofa". So sad, loved the lines of the sofa and it looked great in our room. But function trumps form in the case of a family room sofa. It was also 3 inches shorter than the measurements on the web...the sofa was NOT 90'' long.

Worst Sofa Ever

We purchased this appx. 6 months ago after visiting the store many times and always going back to the Pearce model in the store - very, very comfortable. The seats and back cushions on this sofa are like sitting on rocks - I called the store several times thinking something went wrong when this was put together, but they keep telling me it will soften a little with a lot of use. Since it is just my husband and me, I'm not sure we will ever get to have that experience. I wish I had my old Flexsteel sofa back! PB has lovely, quality products - something definitely wrong with the sofa I received.

We were on vacation, not even looking for furniture, when we saw the Pearce Sofa in a PB store. Next day we went back to make sure it was as comfortable as we'd thought. It was! As soon as we got home, I placed an order in Oat Everyday Suade. The fabric and construction are very high quality.

Perfect for space

I wanted a small sofa that would accomadate a small space, me, books, magazines and two small dogs. This fit the bill. Delivery was prompt (and we live in the middle of nowhere) sofa is comfy and looks nice - the dog hair does cling a little but comes up easily. I liked it so much I later purchased the footstool.
Customer service was top notch in the store and also by phone.

Lovely and Comfortable!

I first ordered this sofa after trying out at least 60 or so couches. I loved the firm yet still plush feeling of the cushions, and the wear on the sofa seemed to be minimal, even though it had been in the store for what I was told was 4+ years. I have truly enjoyed this sofa in the short time I have had it.

Love this couch!

We bought the couch and loveseat for our new house and absolutely love them. The seat cushions are firm and comfortable (we don't like squishy couches) and the depth of the couch is perfect for someone like me who is only 5'5". I don't have to have a pillow behind my back to sit upright but my 6'2" father-in-law is just as comfortable. Easy care, soft fabric too. Love it!
