Exactly what I was looking for

This XXL length rod is great quality. I was looking for black but the antique bronze finish is certainly dark enough and I am very happy with how it looks in the room. I am pleased with my purchase.

The rod is very sturdy, with three brackets, and is oversized, looks substantial. looks great and drapes work very easy when opening and closing!!! PB is pricey, but the quality is worth it!!!

Not the easiest installtion

Overall, we like the look and are happy with the final result, however, the installation was made difficult due to the poor quality wall anchors. I would highly recommend using a better quality anchor than what is included. The plastic ones chewed up our wall and we had to spackle and touch up the paint around it. The hardware BARELY covers up the wall anchors, so any tiny paint chip is not covered by the wall mounted brackets. What should have been a relatively easy installation instead took two days, after spackling, sanding, and touching up the paint. For the price, I was not happy with the installation issues.

It looks great and is easily adjustable. The finish is a rich bronze and I like the smaller diameter. I am a designer and will buy these again.

These two rods look nice and are very sturdy. Had a carpenter who was doing work at my house that day hang them — he wasn't that thrilled — only real issue is that the little screw that tightens rod down to keep it from spinning is in a hard to reach spot if you hang these high, it's extremely frustrating to deal with. Such a small thing led to my husband and me suspending the project for almost a week so we wouldn't, well, you know how that goes. But once you get that issue sorted, you will like these rods, and if your curtain is low enough that you can see the screw when tightening , you won't have any issue at all. One rod I bought even spans a 125" window with no bending or droop. Good PB quality.

I'm very pleased with my purchase of the PB Standard Drape Rod with the pewter finish. It matches my existing brushed nickel hardware nicely. The square finials add a modern touch.

The quality of the product is fine but the color is misleading. The rods look black instead of antique bronze. We plan to return the rods.

I got this rod for a wide (100 plus inches) window. Should have bought the THICKER diameter rod since it looks kind of dinky. Obviously this isn't a custom rod, but it looks less than high end, let's say. If it were possible to give 3.5 stars I would since this would be nicer on a smaller window.

The rod has an unusual bracket that makes it difficult to install. The rod must slide into the bracket from the side which is not easy in tight corner windows.

This draperie rod is soooo narrow...I just hope that it doesn't bow. If the diameter of the rod is listed in your info....I missed it. I would not have ordered this rod had I know it was so thin.

Very good quality rods, these don't sag in the middle with heavier "Peyton Grommet Panels" hung from them like cheaper rods do.
I have used these rods often with good results. Good hardware that installers have no troubles with.

I love the way these rods look! Getting them adjusted and in the right place with the curtains on was quite the fiasco. I believe there are 3 moving parts on these rods (I thought most adjustable rods had 2). You have to use an allen wrench tighten down a screw to hold the rod in place. I have had the PB cast iron fixed rods before and prefer them. I wouldn't choose these again in the future.

Better for not so wide windows

I bought the extra large rod for a 110" window. I spent the extra money to buy the PB one, because I thought it would be much more sturdy. However, it droops significantly if you don't install the center support. The problem I had was that I would have had to install the rod too high to install the center piece and then the 84" curtains would be about 2" off the ground. Luckily I had a center bracket left over from a set of PB kids drapes that worked. It was round instead of tall so it fit over the window frame. So, just be aware that the center bracket needs to be used and it rather tall. Otherwise, the rod is very nice and looks great hanging.
