PB Organic 600-Gram Weight Bath Towels

Very disappointing

I love the pottery barn regular towels at 820 g weight. The organic towels are supposed to be 620 g but instead of a 25% difference, there is at least a 50% difference between the thickness of the two towels. The organic towels feel and look flimsy and I'm very disappointed in them.

I am so glad I purchased these towels. A friend recommended PB towels as lasting forever, so I decided to replace my old towels. These PB towels are so heavy-weight but soft and thirsty. They just get softer and softer in use. I love that they are organice too. The colours are perfect and don't fade. These are the best!

LOVE the PG 600 gram towel collection- however wish that they still offered them in the Red Oak color, which I guess are discontinued? Therefore- only rating these as 4 stars since the availability of color choice isn't what I wished it would be.

My low rating is in particular to the monogramming. I am a very loyal Pottery Barn shopper and have been for years. I usually am very satisfied with their products however this time I was extremely disappointed with the monogramming. I ordered grey thread based on the photos on the internet and my catalog. My monograms look like a taupe-purple color, NOT GREY. I have asked three separate people what color they think the monogram color on my towels is and NOT ONE has responded with grey. That tells me something. They need to either enhance their photos or choose a different thread for grey.

Not color fast

I bought these towels and matching rugs in truffle. After one wash, three towels had orange stains. I suspect that rather than stains, the dye was coming off. The store replaced them without question, but the problems reoccurred. I wondered if it was only my color but noticed customers had similar experiences with other colors.

The towels are soft to the skin and snowy white. Don't waste your money on mongramming, it unravels the first time they are washed.

Hi was excited about the organic bath towels but when I rec'd they were very thin. I would have expected at the price they would have been much thicker. Returned both blue and gold for refund.

These towels are pretty nice. They are fluffy and comfy. Quality is medium - several threads of the terry cloth came out on the very first washing leaving bare patches and long strings. The sandy color of the monogram doesn't stand out well against the moss color of the towel.

My favorite towels

I love my POTTERY BARN organic bath towels. I had purchased towels from Horchow, Nieman Marcus and Bloomindales and all of these towels do not compare to my Pottery Barn towels. When I get out of the shower I go for the Potter Barn towels as they are heavy and they wick away the moisture from my skin, leaving me dry and refreshed. I had purchased these towels for our newly remodeled bathroom and they look absolutely great in our new bathroom. I am sold on Pottery Barn towels.

Several years ago I got these in white. They're very soft and have held up quite well, so I recently ordered two towels and two washcloths in green.
My face soap caused one of the washcloths to fade, and I called customer service to see if I could exchange them for white ones. They took care of it right away, and I don't even have to send back the green cloths.
I'm so happy with the towels and with Pottery Barn.

Soft and Sturdy but Color Fades Easily

Washed the moss/olive green colored towels upon arrival and color faded noticeably. Then unfortunately, the handtowel stained with orange spots after hand-drying following brushing of teeth.

I read other reviews and want to share my family's opinion here too!
We LOVE these towels. They are not extremely heavy, but more of a medium weight.
They did have a slight chemical smell before I washed them a few times, but now are just fine.
We love the convenience of a shorter drying time than heavier Pottery Barn towels. They have been thru the washer and dryer many times now and are still the same pretty Truffle (dark tan) color and thickness.
I am going to buy more!

not what I expected

I have to say I love Pottery Barn for their products and most of all excellent customer service.
I was a little disappointing with the quality of towels I received. I thought they would be a little more plush than they were. They are soft but feel pretty thin. Its probably my fault though cause I really wanted to get the 700 gram weight which I didn't. I would have exchanged them but I got them monogrammed. The monogramming looked wonderful!

Having ordered your towels in the past...which have lasted for years, this product is much thinner and rather cheap looking. Didn't realize until after I ordered they were 650 thread count versus the 850 of the ones I have ordered in the past. They were the same price....so thought I would try something new. I had ordered monogrammed....so am forced to give as a gift.
