Our exceptionally lofty oversized throw is woven of soft and warm polyester fabric. Woven of polyester. Monogramming is available at an additional charge. Monogram will be placed at one corner of the throw. Available in 50"x70" and 75" x 90" Machine wash. Select items are Catalog / Internet only. Imported.

The one true blanket

Luscious. Best blanket ever. I love a cuddly blanket at winter time and this one was so wonderful I bought one for myself and eventually ended up buying eight more as Christmas gifts! Everyone has raved about them. A lifetime friend said it's the best gift I've ever ever given her, and I've given her some pretty darn good gifts! One husband declared it "the one true blanket" and said all others should be burned as imposters. I like to say it "feels like love." It washes well and still looks brand new after 5 months of daily use. Red is by far my fav color. Be prepared though, I have heard of a few problems. Husbands hog them. Cats want to cuddle more. Kids fight over it and plead to take it to bed and have been known to get so desperate they beg to "rent it" from you for the night. You might have to share it. You might have to buy two.

I selected the essential cozy throw as a gift for someone that I struggle with each Christmas when it comes to gift ideas. It was available in the color she has in her home and I was also to have it monogrammed which made it even more personal. She loves the throw, which she keeps on her sofa and has has available to snuggle with in the evening. She lives in FLA and the throw fabric is suitable for cooler temps. She also loved the gift wrap that I ordered along with it.

The coziest throw!

I love this throw. I washed it and it did not pill or shed anything in the dryer. It is fluffy and warm and wonderful to cuddle up with.

this throw is sooo cozy, my daughters love it and try to sneek it away for themselves all the time. I have been wanting to get this throw since last xmas and finally this year with a rewards coupon got it for a great deal and it is actually worth all the money I paid plus some! It is definitely the softest throw I have ever felt! I washed it before use as recommended and it washed and dried awesome. love love it!!! want to buy more !

I purchased the Essential Cozy Throw for a Christmas present. I had it monogrammed with one letter. It arrived as stated and it turned out great. It is a soft blanket & pretty big. The gift receivers love it & it looks great with their decor. All 3 young kids fit under it.

Softest Throw I've Ever Owned!

This throw was a Christmas present for my husband, had it monogrammed, and couldn't get him out from under it the entire holiday! It also looks fabulous as a decorative throw on our bed. Will be purchasing another one soon. Great job Pottery Barn!!

I ordered two of these as a Christmas gift. I requested the monogramming on both. When I received the products (2 days before Christmas), I was very disappointed. The monograms were only about 1.5" in size. Because the throw is very plush, you could not even see the monogram!
It was too late to re-order. I wish you had been more explicit in the description or make a suggestion regarding size of the monogram. I had expected the monogramming to be at least 3" tall on the corner of the throw. As shown in the picture!

This is the favorite throw in the house. It is soft, and warm and so easy to clean. It is the perfect cover for watching TV or taking a nap.

The Essential Cozy Throw is perfect! I purchased one for my husband last year. Everyone in the family fought over the throw despite the numerous alternatives sitting in the closet. I ordered one for each of my children, so now everyone is happy! The only issue that I have with the most recent throws is with the monogramming. The letters are not properly spaced and look like they are of differing sizes. In the future, I would just order the throw and have it monogrammed myself.

Softest blanket ever

I ordered one last year for my sister and brother in law and had it monogrammed. I looks great and they absolutely love it. My dog started sleeping on it and would snuggle up with it so this year I got one for her as well. She loves it and always curls up in it. It will stay soft as long as when you wash it be sure to use fabric softener. Small size blanket is enough for one person to nap with or to cover two during a movie or what not. Enjoy!

Presentation is everything ... I ordered 3 Essential Cozy Throws and they all 3 came in the same box. After opening the box and saw the first throw, all beautifully wrapped with a perfectly tied and delicate ribbon around it, I was impressed. After seeing the 2nd and 3rd throws, with their ribbons twisted awkwardly around the throw, tied very tightly, and the throws themselves not folded as well as the first one, I was a little disappointed. That being said, they are monogrammed gifts and I know the value and quality of the PB Cozy Essential Throw and know the recipients will love these! By the way, I was diagnosed with cancer this year and my sister bought me a PB Cozy Essential Throw -- it is my "go-to comfort blanket" with its softness and warmth-- thank you for a quality product!

What can I say? This throw doesn't seem to be any more luxurious than most, but it is more expensive than most. Nice enough. Soft. I like the monogram option.

Use for a Great Nap!

I absolutely love this throw. I had purchased 2 of them last Christmas for my daughters and then couldn't find it for myself. I bought a plaid one thinking it was the same and while it is very nice, it wasn't as thick as these are. They wear well, are soft and heavy...great in a VT log home where cozy is a must! I would love one in every bedroom and the loft. But will settle for the living room for now...

I have two of these. They are soooo soft and wash and dry beautifully. There is no shedding and the size is good. If I had a place to put more, I would buy another.
