PB Essential Drape Rod
With rectangular back plates and a rasped cast-iron or pewter finish, this drape rod has the look of a blacksmith's creation. Sturdy iron drape rod. Small: extends from 28-48" long and comes with 2 end brackets. Medium: extends from 48-88" long and comes with 2 end brackets and 1 middle bracket. Large: extends from 60-108" long and comes 2 end brackets and 1 middle bracket. X-Large: extends from 96-120" long and comes with 2 end brackets and 1 middle bracket. Includes mounting hardware. "The BEST curtain rod ever"

This beautiful and very easy to hang rod is perfect for long heavy drapes or just to use with sheers and curtain rings! My husband was able to hang it by himself which was awesome and we didn't argue at all! Haha! I plan to buy more for my home and can't wait to finish dressing my windows!!!

Hang I got the medium and the x-large size. You better have three people to hang the larger rods. The only way to be able to take the curtains down to wash are to unscrew the brackets from the wall. I got similar rods for my smaller windows from another major retailer and you just turn the rod and it unscrews from the bracket. The only problem is they don't make these large enough for a x-large window. They are attractive, I would like to get the rings but I am having a hard time justifying spending more on rings than I spent on rods. You need 10 rings for a 50 inch curtain.

I bought these for both my living room and my bedroom. They were easy to install and look great! I'm so glad to have these in my home! I would recommend these for any room of your home.

Loved the curtain rod so much, bought for multiple rooms in our home. Easy to put up, heavy duty. Love the look that it doesn't extend on the sides. Goes great with all our furnishings.

I bought two of these rods for several reason..curved rods that help block off cold air, and the rustic look. HOWEVER these rods have not even been up a year and both of my custom drapes are ruined w/the black coming off the rods! It is a very fine powder and just seems endless. Try to clean the rod, don't dare touch your drape, then they are dirtier than they were just from the mess coming off the rods. Another reviewer mentioned the pain in hanging these, I totally agree. To have to completely take off the rod to change the drapes is ridiculous...thank goodness I am using the matching clips...but those are also sloughing off onto my drapes. Ivory pure linen drapes custom made and they are a mess. Vacuuming does not help either. The cleaners closed and I have not a clue on what to do. Very displeased, never in my life have I run into a situation like this. The drapes are black at the top.

I love the look of this rod and love how it fits on the wall. My only complaint is it is not as rigid and sturdy as I was h oping it would be. It feels very light and flimsy almost. I thought it was going to be a harder sturdier metal, especially for the price. But, overall, it is very nice and and I love the look.

My Favorite Drapery Rod

This rod is simplicity at its best! I love how easy it was to install and I love the way it wraps around the window so that there are no gaps, no unwanted light shining in around the edge of my drapes. I would suggest that the name be changed from Essential to Simple Luxury!

This we used above a sliding glass door, and paired with the tiebacks. We have a rustic style and wanted something that suited this along with some class. There is absolutely nothing not to like about this rod. Another swell product from PB!

Essential Drape Rod

This rod arrived quickly, and went up easily (the directions were clear, and though they suggested a two-person installation, I did fine on my own). The rod is a very substantial construction, it has a hand-forged appearance and is quite rugged. I have the medium length, which required the use of the center support cleat. This is a beautiful rod, its simplicity completes the look I created for my rustic, yet classic, kitchen theme.

I bought these because the first drapery rods I purchased in-store were of poor quality. They sagged in the center, without a drape on it! Plus, when I got home and opened the first box, they gave me the wrong set and even that set was missing a rod. I returned those and bought these instead. Once I got them, the instructions said you could not hang grommet or tab top curtains on these, only tie on or rings with clips. The catalog didn't say this! Of course my curtains were tab tops. So that means you have to take the drapery hardware off the wall to remove your curtains to wash. Also, you have to hang the rod WITH the curtains on them, (in my case). Very important information left out of that product description. Also, the rectangular brackets are not square with the rod and the only way to correct that is to loosen a screw on the back side of the bracket and hope that your rod is perpendicular to the bracket. These drapery rods could cause a divorce!!!

Was looking for something different than the traditional rods. Can be used with or without clips for different looks. Great quality! Easy to install.
