PB Essential 650-Gram Weight Bath Towels
Our ultra-absorbent towels are woven to a plush 650-gram weight and combed for extra softness. 100% cotton. Detailed with dobby weaving along the edges. Monogramming is available at an additional charge. Monogram will be centered at one end of the bath and hand towels. Machine wash. Catalog / Internet Only. Imported.

Unraveling

I was disappointed when the edge of these towels started to unravel after their first use. I sewed them up, then washed them. Within a week, they were unraveling again in a different spot. I've had to sew them up three times, but they seem to have finally stabilized (maybe because it's now my stitching instead of the original in most places).
On the other hand, they are still fairly soft while still being absorbant. I think sometimes when towels are too soft, they don't absorb water very well, and that's not the case with these.

They are really more cream than white and have loose threads. Disappointed.

I love these mid weight towels and wash cloths. The towels are super absorbent and soft and the wash cloths are the perfect thickness for comfortable use and ringing out. They are simply the perfect mid weight towels and wash cloths

These bath towels are very soft and feel much more expensive than they were. The color is fabulous, and exactly how it looked online. They're also a very nice size. My only complaint is that, after just a handful of washes, some of the stitching already appears to be fraying a bit.

These towels are very nice and look great in my guest bath. Two of the first batch of towels that arrived had to be sent back because the monogram was either crooked or way off in spacing from the other monogrammed towels. It took longer than I had hoped for the replacements to arrive, but overall I was very pleased with the final product!

Too much lint

Although these are soft and plush, too much lint in the dryer. I'm somewhat disappointed in the amount of lint they shed. It makes me wonder how long they will last. I have designated them as guest towels; not every day use

I was disappointed in the towels. There were loose threads hanging on the towels and the embroidery wasn't great. And it was a little off center.

I have bought a few sets of towels from PB and they have been high quality. These towels are a little less expensive than the others I bought, but the quality is much lower than the others. The color faded quickly and the construction is just okay.

I was actually thinking of calling Pottery Barn, so thank you for this opportunity to comment. I purchased 4 Bath Towels and 2 Hand Towels. They are beautiful colors, true to the pictures on your website. They are very soft, but I washed them and was about to put them on my towel rack and one of the blue bath towels caught my ring.(My ring is NOT huge!) This created a snag, but not only that, the snag/pull went about 8 inches down the towel. I found it hard to believe that one little snag would create such a large pull, and now the thread is unsightly. I have had towels for years that never looked this bad - and after having these for literally 24 hours. I was not happy. Thank you for your interest. I LOVE Pottery Barn -just disappointed in these towels.

These are decent towels but much lighter weight than I thought they would be. Will be nice in the summer because they'll dry fast but probably not something I will buy again. Color is nice.

Great towels, but was disappointed when they arrived with snags and pulls already. Super soft and wash up well.
