Crafted of reclaimed wood, zinc and glass, our lantern brings the sparkle and warmth of candlelight to your home. Six Damaged Lanterns

I ordered 2 of each size for my wedding, so 6 total. They are REALLY pretty...BUT... All arrived with some sort of damage. Most the base of the lantern separated/broke away from the glass, exposing tacks, one the hinged pane was broken. I would order two if you're set on getting them just in case.

I love the 2 lanterns I received! The zinc tops and rustic paint make them look antique. I ordered the medium (which is really quite large) and also the small. I put them in the center of my mantel, side-by-side, with large shells, coral, and manzanita branches on either side to fill out the arrangement. I used battery operated pillar candles with timers in each lanternso they flicker every evening. The whole look is FABULOUS! The smaller lantern's door is not quite straight but I think this contributes to its rustic handmade look and I love it! I may move the smaller one to the dining room table along with more manzanita for a party centerpiece.

This lantern is absolutely charming and rather than put it outside, it has a place on my fireplace hearth. Lighting the candles I put inside make a lovely glow at night and guests have commented on how unique and beautiful it is in our house. Great purchase!

I am sorry to say that I was very disappointed with the quality of the lantern. I felt it was poorly constructed and the door did not work properly to put the candle in. I returned it immediately.
I will say however, this is the first time I have been disappointed with anything that I ordered and I have ordered quite often from Pottery barn - everything from a toss pillow to my bed that I absolutely love. So I will be doing business again I am sure - just not for a lantern unless I see it in the store first.

The designers and photographers made this look so fabulous in the catalog I raced to order the medium and had it shipped out before it even arrived in the stores. WOW what a disappointment I got when it was delivered, each panel shattered and the door not closing properly. The packing was inadequate but when I went in to the store to see them it was clear the style is hit-and-miss as many of the lanterns were in the state of the tower of Pisa. My,o,my. A nice idea but what a waste of wood and glass. If it weren't for PB's excellent customer service I might just give up and shop somewhere else.
